Do I sense a shift amongst my peoples?

From the Melanated Man:

Me and the misses threw a birthday party for our girls this weekend (their birthdays are a week apart from each other so we split the difference.) Hence this conspicuously-timed post: ED vs EL: Parent-approved holidays for Child Drug Use.

We had the normal spread: Chicken wings, hot dogs, baked beans, potato chips, cake and ice cream, sodas, plus a SNOW CONE machine (smh.) I did grill some vegetables such as asparagus, zucchini and yellow squash, and some red potatoes. Also, I concocted a batch of some black bean quinoa burgers, meshed with sweet potatoes and spinach. My mom made a delicious spinach salad. I was shocked to see that many of our guest partook of the vegetable AND my burgers, and they loved it.

Through conversations with the guests I noticed how they were looking to change their eating habits, just as myself, in their everyday lives.

Less meat and  sugar, more veggies and water they inclined.

I’m sensing that people, my black-melanated peoples, are noticing in their own lives that their is a problem with the current eating paradigm and look to do better. Is their something in the air? What’s going on here?

I feel a shift. That’s FANTASTIC!!

What’s funny is that there were many hot dogs and chicken wings leftover, as well as soda and cake and ice cream than the veggies (granted the black bean quinoa were leftover as well but it will catch on at some point.) We have to get rid of all of this SHIT!

But I’m happy more black-melanated people are beginning to wise up. It really warms my heart.

To all family and loved ones who came and attended the party, we enjoyed you and next time the spread is going to be WAYYYY more healthier. Glad you watched your consumption as well.

(To the misses, I hope you are reading this. NO MORE SNOW CONE MACHINES!!!!)

ED vs. EL: ‘White’ Starches and Oils

From the Melanated Man:

Refer to previous posts: ED vs. EL: Eating Meat, Huh?! , ED vs EL: Vegetables have Life/Light as Well

Originally I was going to do a post with starches, oils, and sugars all together. But I figured sugar needs its OWN post by itself because for black-melanated people it’s probably our biggest weakness besides ANIMAL FLESH. And also I have specified WHITE starches since that is more the REAL concern/issue than your natural starches (although you shouldn’t partake too much of the natural starches either.)

All of the white starches  that we eat are PROCESSED, DENATURED, AND DEAD! Here’s a comprehensive list of the those white starches we like to eat regularly:

White rice (Rice and gravy, fake “Chinese” fried rice)

Spaghetti noodles

Macaroni (with cheese)

Bleached, white flour (used for frying chicken, baking cakes and cookies and other various side dishes)

Bleached, white bread (with our hot dogs and hamburgers)

And much, much more!

(If there are any other starches I missed, inform me. Having brain farts.)

Your white starches do not have any LIFE or LIGHT within them (let alone any nutritional value) because they have been…

Bleached with chemicals…

Processed and preserved WITH chemicals…

And last but not least, we OVERCOOK them!

(Plus, this nonsense will more than likely be undigested and STORED AS FAT!!!!)

As mentioned before, we should be consuming more NATURAL starches, according to our activity level of course. And when we consume of the NATURAL starches, we should NOT be eating i.e. …

…Sweet potato souffle…

…OR Corn casserole!

I know what your are thinking, “There goes the holiday dishes, AND the Sunday dinners.” I know it looks good and TASTE good.

But don’t these dishes look a tad bit overcooked?

Ask yourself this: ARE YOU GETTING ANY LIFE/LIGHT FROM IT?

Or is it EMPTY CALORIES?

DEAD WASTE?

Again, if we love life and into celebrating life, don’t contradict yourself by eating DEATH!!

Here is a small list of starches (that SHOULD be steamed, lightly sauteed and/or grilled) we should consume more of:

  • Brown, wild, basmati rice (no gravy!)

  • Potatoes (white, red, and/or sweet)
  • Wheat bread (preferably rye bread)
  • Corn
  • Whole grain pastas (spaghetti, macaroni WITHOUT the sauces)
  • Whole grain oatmeal
  • Yellow Grits

  • Couscous (my favorite!)
  • Wheat flour (a healthier alternative to help slowly break away from the sweets and fried foods)

Now to the oils. I am going to take an paragraph from Dr. Afrika’s African Holistic Health to help explain the cooking oil:

Oil is processed, cooked, filtered, and refined. Nutrients destroyed, oil becomes synthetic transoil to retard spoilage and prolong its shelf life. The vital vitamins and minerals and fiber is dissolved with toxic chemicals and filtered out of the oil. In the refinement process, a gasoline solvent is used to dissolve the oil after extraction. Then it is treated with toxic poisonous lye, alkalis and caustic soda. Next, it is bleached to make it nice and clear. These refinement chemical and bleach leave a horrible odor and taste; so the oil is then chemically deodorized and perfumed  and poisonous antioxidants added. Residual amounts of the chemicals stay in the oil, which cause it to be unsafe fr human consumption. Some refiners add trace amounts of white sugar to make the oil addicting. Processed oils are a highly concentrated synthetic chemical that are harmful. Polyunsaturated, saturated and hydrogenated oils that are processed are equally health destructive. However, the consumer watchdogs, USDA and FDA, approve this and law does not require the listing of all the chemicals in the oil. The final oil product has been heated several times and further reheating by the consumer causes it to be even more dangerous. Cold pressed oils are the safest. They are concentrated and weaken the digestive system and thicken the blood making it into sludge (sewage.) Processed or cooked oils cause unidentified diseases.”

Processed Oils

  • Increase the incidence and severity of cancer
  • Contribute to inflammation of joints
  • Weaken immunity
  • Increase fluid retention (edema)
  • Decrease and interrupt mitochondria function
  • Increase cell death
  • Slow down cell growth and development
  • Decrease the cells of the brain, liver, skin, etc.
  • Mutate cells
  • Decrease energy
  • Impair, fetal and infant brain development
  • Cause fats to become transoils and rancid (rotten)
  • Decrease communication between cells

So what some of the examples of processed oils to avoid?

  • Vegetable Oil (Crisco, anyone?)
  • Canola Oil  (How about some Mazola?)
  • Corn Oil
  • Soybean Oil
  • Hydrogenated Oil
  • Margarine

Use these cold-pressed (crushing the seed or nut, forcing out the oil) alternatives:

(All preferably extra virgin and unfiltered)

  • Olive oil (not for cooking)
  • Coconut Oil
  • Grapeseed Oil
  • Sesame Oil
  • Flaxseed Oil

Hopefully this information can benefit you in some capacity and as a people we can slowly but surely break the chains of this sadistic food prison we have subjected ourselves too.

One day at a time!

Peace and Love to my melanated family,

The Melanated Man

ED vs EL: Parent-approved holidays for Child Drug Use

Just Say NO!

From The Melanated Man:

This is going to be short and sweet like *sugar. Yes sugar.

White sugar.

This post is sort of the prelude to the in-depth discussion I will have on sugar later. But have you wondered how people have addictions, for instance drug addictions, later in their adult life? Well it starts at an young age.

Like when you are baby.

Sugar is a government-approved drug just like *caffeine and aspartame. Any substance extracted from it’s natural and intended plant is a DRUG. That’s a little preview to the post on sugar that is on the way. Something to think on.

And as parents we let our kids have free reign to all of the chocolate, candy, cakes, AND sweet beverages they can get their hands, especially these times of the year:

Their Birthdays

Easter

Halloween

Thanksgiving

Christmas

Mardi Gras (for those familiar with it from Mobile, AL)

…AND every other day when we want to keep them quiet or when they have done something good.

We figure it’s OK to allow our child to partake of some treats ( or tricks!) so they can get a ARTIFICIAL HIGH!

But just like any HIGH you are gonna want to increase the level of potency. And it may not necessarily lead to actual drug use such crack cocaine or heroin, *but there are MANY other addictions besides that.

What is it that we are teaching our kids, these black-melanated kids, regarding their food consumption, and consumption IN GENERAL at an early age?

Let’s wise up, peoples!

Note to my Followers from the ‘Man’

From the Melanated Man:

If you are wondering why I have been doing so many posts on food lately, that is where my mind is at the moment. In the next week or two I  will begin to get back into melanin, metaphysics, and much, MUCH more! I hope you are getting something out of these posts, if not, I know I am. It’s been a liberating experience for me. My goal is to shine my light  so your light can shine as well.

Food for Thought: The Chore of Grocery Shopping

From the Melanated Man:

I was grocery shopping at Wal-Mart (smh) the other day and I was browsing through the aisles getting the items I normally get for my family and myself. I checked out the ingredients on some of the items that I had  for my wife and kids (because of course, I eat only FRESH PRODUCE now) and began to become depressed. There were a couple of items that I was considering buying for myself (some almond milk, please!) and I put it back on the shelf because of the EXCESS ingredients in these items.

Trust me, I have cravings for some cereal (organic corn flakes, I mind you) or a nice fruit smoothie with almond milk. That doesn’t sound bad, right?

Well if you consider how many ingredients are in almond milk then you will understand why I placed it back in the freezer.

SIX INGREDIENTS FOR UNSWEETENED ALMOND MILK!! REALLY?!

VERY disappointed.

What CAN I eat these days?

Now I understood a while ago food that is pre-packaged, not fresh, or self grown is 100% of the time a RISK to eat, let alone buy it. Habits die hard and it took me awhile to overcome eating it myself.

Now I  battle with buying the shit for my loved ones with full knowledge of the damage it could cause them. My wife, of course has to make the decision to change in her own time.

My baby girls… they don’t know any better. The Oreos, Tombstone Pizza, the Skittles and M&Ms..

It KILLS me. And at times I feel I have failed them. It’s never too late. Although they’ve grown accustomed to the ARTIFICIAL, I will do everything in my power to guide them in the right direction.

If you don’t have a farm or *your own garden, PLEASE STAY CONSCIOUS during your grocery excursions.

Look out for your family’s best interest…

A Poem: “Ye I Walk Through the Valley…” (from a Eating Perspective)

From the Melanated Man:

Ye I walk through the valley of the shadow of death…

I shall bypass all restaurants aptly named Church’s Chicken and KFC,

That’s Kentucky Fried Chicken for the uninitiated.

Not to mention the infamous Mickey D’s and Burger King,

As well as the local Wendy’s and Krystal’s, or White Castle for you Mid-westerners!

I shall re-calibrate my tastebuds to the nearest fresh market,

And partaketh of the those fresh tomatoes and field peas,

Of that juicy, ripe honeydew melon and oranges with their seeds intact,

Celebrating all the Creator has given me through Mother Nature.

No GMO or processed crap, just NATURAL!

I shall honor the cow, the pig, the fowl of the sea, and especially the chicken,

For they are living creatures with uninhabited  ambition such as myself.

Never again shall I consume of dead blood,

What is killed for my nourishment will inevitably bring death to my existence.

I shall say to self, “Disregard Longhorn’s and Outback with their well-done New York strip steaks,

Abstain from those scrumptious pork ribs brought to you by Jim ‘N Nicks,

Turn your nose up to some fried catfish from Pappadeaux’s,

And last but not least, deny  yourself some delectable, crispy chicken legs from good ole Popeye’s!”

I shall be thankful for SWEETS: a SWEET apple, a SWEET mango, and a SWEEEET watermelon!

I shall be grateful for GREEN: GREEN beans, GREEN peas, and COLLARD GREENS!

For they bring thanksgiving to my living body, spirit, and soul.

I SHALL NOT consume of those fruits that bear no seeds,

I SHALL NOT overcook and kill the GREEN of my food,

For they hold the  light and truth that is imperative to my beautiful, melanated vessel.

Ye I walk through the valley of the shadow of death…

Food for Thought: Cleaning the Food Off the Table…

From the Melanated Man:

One day I was cleaning the mess of food my little ones made off the kitchen table.

Then I had I thought.

I was using chemicals to clean food residue from the kitchen table.

This may not seem like a big deal to you but it hit home with me. If the food we eat regularly is not harmful to us, why in the hell do we need Lysol and Clorox to wipe away its leftover residue?

We are suppose to eat natural, organic, healthy food then there should be no need for cleaning chemicals. I GUARANTEE that there would not be any stains on the table.

So what is the NONSENSE that we are eating that it requires the use of cleaning chemicals to be wiped away?

Please tell me I’m not the only one that sees the issue…

A Reblog: A World War has Begun. Break the Silence

Via Black Agenda Report by John Pilger

The United States is constantly preparing to launch a global holocaust, under the guise of “defense.” It is a country singularly unfit to hold the destiny of humanity in its unstable hands. America has put the whole species on a war footing. “At present, it is a war of propaganda, of lies and distraction, but this can change instantaneously with the first mistaken order, the first missile.”

A World War has Begun. Break the Silence

by John Pilger

“Most of America’s wars (almost all of them against defenseless countries) have been launched not by Republican presidents but by liberal Democrats.”

I have been filming in the Marshall Islands, which lie north of Australia, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Whenever I tell people where I have been, they ask, “Where is that?” If I offer a clue by referring to “Bikini”, they say, “You mean the swimsuit.”

Few seem aware that the bikini swimsuit was named to celebrate the nuclear explosions that destroyed Bikini island. Sixty-six nuclear devices were exploded by the United States in the Marshall Islands between 1946 and 1958 – the equivalent of 1.6 Hiroshima bombs every day for twelve years.

Bikini is silent today, mutated and contaminated. Palm trees grow in a strange grid formation. Nothing moves. There are no birds. The headstones in the old cemetery are alive with radiation. My shoes registered “unsafe” on a Geiger counter.

Standing on the beach, I watched the emerald green of the Pacific fall away into a vast black hole. This was the crater left by the hydrogen bomb they called “Bravo.” The explosion poisoned people and their environment for hundreds of miles, perhaps forever.

On my return journey, I stopped at Honolulu airport and noticed an American magazine called Women’s Health. On the cover was a smiling woman in a bikini swimsuit, and the headline: “You, too, can have a bikini body.” A few days earlier, in the Marshall Islands, I had interviewed women who had very different “bikini bodies”; each had suffered thyroid cancer and other life-threatening cancers.

“Nuclear warhead spending alone rose higher under Obama than under any American president.”

Unlike the smiling woman in the magazine, all of them were impoverished: the victims and guinea pigs of a rapacious superpower that is today more dangerous than ever.

I relate this experience as a warning and to interrupt a distraction that has consumed so many of us. The founder of modern propaganda, Edward Bernays, described this phenomenon as “the conscious and intelligent manipulation of the habits and opinions” of democratic societies. He called it an “invisible government”.

How many people are aware that a world war has begun? At present, it is a war of propaganda, of lies and distraction, but this can change instantaneously with the first mistaken order, the first missile.

In 2009, President Obama stood before an adoring crowd in the centre of Prague, in the heart of Europe. He pledged himself to make “the world free from nuclear weapons.” People cheered and some cried. A torrent of platitudes flowed from the media. Obama was subsequently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

It was all fake. He was lying.

The Obama administration has built more nuclear weapons, more nuclear warheads, more nuclear delivery systems, more nuclear factories. Nuclear warhead spending alone rose higher under Obama than under any American president. The cost over thirty years is more than $1 trillion.

“Not since Hitler invaded the Soviet Union have foreign troops presented such a demonstrable threat to Russia.”

A mini nuclear bomb is planned. It is known as the B61 Model 12. There has never been anything like it. General James Cartwright, a former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has said, “Going smaller [makes using this nuclear] weapon more thinkable.”

In the last eighteen months, the greatest build-up of military forces since World War Two – led by the United States – is taking place along Russia’s western frontier. Not since Hitler invaded the Soviet Union have foreign troops presented such a demonstrable threat to Russia.

Ukraine – once part of the Soviet Union – has become a CIA theme park. Having orchestrated a coup in Kiev, Washington effectively controls a regime that is next door and hostile to Russia: a regime rotten with Nazis, literally. Prominent parliamentary figures in Ukraine are the political descendants of the notorious OUN and UPA fascists. They openly praise Hitler and call for the persecution and expulsion of the Russian speaking minority.

This is seldom news in the West, or it is inverted to suppress the truth.

In Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia – next door to Russia – the US military is deploying combat troops, tanks, heavy weapons. This extreme provocation of the world’s second nuclear power is met with silence in the West.

What makes the prospect of nuclear war even more dangerous is a parallel campaign against China.

Seldom a day passes when China is not elevated to the status of a “threat.” According to Admiral Harry Harris, the US Pacific commander, China is “building a great wall of sand in the South China Sea.”

“Had the lies of George W. Bush and Tony Blair not been amplified and echoed by journalists, the 2003 invasion of Iraq might not have happened.”

What he is referring to is China building airstrips in the Spratly Islands, which are the subject of a dispute with the Philippines – a dispute without priority until Washington pressured and bribed the government in Manila and the Pentagon launched a propaganda campaign called “freedom of navigation.”

What does this really mean? It means freedom for American warships to patrol and dominate the coastal waters of China. Try to imagine the American reaction if Chinese warships did the same off the coast of California.

I made a film called The War You Don’t See, in which I interviewed distinguished journalists in America and Britain: reporters such as Dan Rather of CBS, Rageh Omar of the BBC, David Rose of the Observer.

All of them said that had journalists and broadcasters done their job and questioned the propaganda that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction; had the lies of George W. Bush and Tony Blair not been amplified and echoed by journalists, the 2003 invasion of Iraq might not have happened, and hundreds of thousands of men, women and children would be alive today.

The propaganda laying the ground for a war against Russia and/or China is no different in principle. To my knowledge, no journalist in the Western “mainstream” – a Dan Rather equivalent, say – asks why China is building airstrips in the South China Sea.

The answer ought to be glaringly obvious. The United States is encircling China with a network of bases, with ballistic missiles, battle groups, nuclear-armed bombers.

This lethal arc extends from Australia to the islands of the Pacific, the Marianas and the Marshalls and Guam, to the Philippines, Thailand, Okinawa, Korea and across Eurasia to Afghanistan and India. America has hung a noose around the neck of China. This is not news. Silence by media; war by media.

“The United States is encircling China with a network of bases, with ballistic missiles, battle groups, nuclear -armed bombers.”

In 2015, in high secrecy, the US and Australia staged the biggest single air-sea military exercise in recent history, known as Talisman Sabre. Its aim was to rehearse an Air-Sea Battle Plan, blocking sea lanes, such as the Straits of Malacca and the Lombok Straits, that cut off China’s access to oil, gas and other vital raw materials from the Middle East and Africa.

In the circus known as the American presidential campaign, Donald Trump is being presented as a lunatic, a fascist. He is certainly odious; but he is also a media hate figure. That alone should arouse our skepticism.

Trump’s views on migration are grotesque, but no more grotesque than those of David Cameron. It is not Trump who is the Great Deporter from the United States, but the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Barack Obama.

According to one prodigious liberal commentator, Trump is “unleashing the dark forces of violence” in the United States. Unleashing them?

This is the country where toddlers shoot their mothers and the police wage a murderous war against black Americans. This is the country that has attacked and sought to overthrow more than 50 governments, many of them democracies, and bombed from Asia to the Middle East, causing the deaths and dispossession of millions of people.

No country can equal this systemic record of violence. Most of America’s wars (almost all of them against defenseless countries) have been launched not by Republican presidents but by liberal Democrats: Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, Obama.

In 1947, a series of National Security Council directives described the paramount aim of American foreign policy as “a world substantially made over in [America’s] own image”. The ideology was messianic Americanism. We were all Americans. Or else. Heretics would be converted, subverted, bribed, smeared or crushed.

“This is the country where toddlers shoot their mothers and the police wage a murderous war against black Americans.”

Donald Trump is a symptom of this, but he is also a maverick. He says the invasion of Iraq was a crime; he doesn’t want to go to war with Russia and China. The danger to the rest of us is not Trump, but Hillary Clinton. She is no maverick. She embodies the resilience and violence of a system whose vaunted “exceptionalism” is totalitarian with an occasional liberal face.

As presidential election day draws near, Clinton will be hailed as the first female president, regardless of her crimes and lies – just as Barack Obama was lauded as the first black president and liberals swallowed his nonsense about “hope.” And the drool goes on.

Described by the Guardian columnist Owen Jones as “funny, charming, with a coolness that eludes practically every other politician,” Obama the other day sent drones to slaughter 150 people in Somalia. He kills people usually on Tuesdays, according to the New York Times, when he is handed a list of candidates for death by drone. So cool.

In the 2008 presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton threatened to “totally obliterate” Iran with nuclear weapons. As Secretary of State under Obama, she participated in the overthrow of the democratic government of Honduras. Her contribution to the destruction of Libya in 2011 was almost gleeful. When the Libyan leader, Colonel Gaddafi, was publicly sodomized with a knife – a murder made possible by American logistics – Clinton gloated over his death: “We came, we saw, he died.”

One of Clinton’s closest allies is Madeleine Albright, the former secretary of State, who has attacked young women for not supporting “Hillary.” This is the same Madeleine Albright who infamously celebrated on TV the death of half a million Iraqi children as “worth it.”

Among Clinton’s biggest backers are the Israel lobby and the arms companies that fuel the violence in the Middle East. She and her husband have received a fortune from Wall Street. And yet, she is about to be ordained the women’s candidate, to see off the evil Trump, the official demon. Her supporters include distinguished feminists: the likes of Gloria Steinem in the US and Anne Summers in Australia.

“Hillary Clinton threatened to “totally obliterate” Iran with nuclear weapons.”

A generation ago, a post-modern cult now known as “identity politics” stopped many intelligent, liberal-minded people examining the causes and individuals they supported – such as the fakery of Obama and Clinton; such as bogus progressive movements like Syriza in Greece, which betrayed the people of that country and allied with their enemies.

Self absorption, a kind of “me-ism,” became the new zeitgeist in privileged western societies and signaled the demise of great collective movements against war, social injustice, inequality, racism and sexism.

Today, the long sleep may be over. The young are stirring again. Gradually. The thousands in Britain who supported Jeremy Corbyn as Labor leader are part of this awakening – as are those who rallied to support Senator Bernie Sanders.

In Britain last week, Jeremy Corbyn’s closest ally, his shadow treasurer John McDonnell, committed a Labor government to pay off the debts of piratical banks and, in effect, to continue so-called austerity.

In the US, Bernie Sanders has promised to support Clinton if or when she’s nominated. He, too, has voted for America’s use of violence against countries when he thinks it’s “right.” He says Obama has done “a great job.”

In Australia, there is a kind of mortuary politics, in which tedious parliamentary games are played out in the media while refugees and Indigenous people are persecuted and inequality grows, along with the danger of war. The government of Malcolm Turnbull has just announced a so-called defense budget of $195 billion that is a drive to war. There was no debate. Silence.

What has happened to the great tradition of popular direct action, unfettered to parties? Where is the courage, imagination and commitment required to begin the long journey to a better, just and peaceful world? Where are the dissidents in art, film, the theater, literature?

Where are those who will shatter the silence? Or do we wait until the first nuclear missile is fired?

ED vs. EL: Eating Meat, Huh?!

From the Melanated Man:

Do we need any meat for that matter??

So what is my  beef with eating meat, so to speak?

You know these animals we are partaking at the dinner table have lives too, right? ANIMALS LIVES MATTER!!! Chickens, cows, pigs, etc. have to undergo so much torture before they actually meet their end:

Chickens get their necks wrangled or slit OR they are scalded alive…

http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-food/factory-farming/chickens/chicken-transport-slaughter/

Cows  have to travel many miles to a slaughtered house; by the time they get there they dehydrated and sickly, where are they are then shot in the HEAD…

http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-food/factory-farming/cows/cow-transport-slaughter/

Pigs have to endure the a combination of torture and death that cows and chickens go through…

http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-food/factory-farming/pigs/pig-transport-slaughter/

And fish, well, you take them out of the water and it’s a done deal.

http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-food/factory-farming/fish/commercial-fishing/

(I’m not a big fan of PETA and their politics (Michael Vick?) but I do agree with their message of protecting animals that quite honestly don’t have many protection rights.)

On a spiritual/metaphysical level, there is a consequence to eating animals that have been killed so gruesomely. At their moment of death they have an extremely high level of fear within themselves, which is stained within the blood after their life force has left their tattered bodies (animals have souls too.) When you eat dead blood you are also eating their fear, which manifests within your own being.

It causes you to live your life within THE MATRIX!

You become afraid to take chances and to think OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!

The more of the dead blood that you eat, you take on the characteristics of the DOMESTICATED! We are told how and when to eat/shit/sleep, where and how to live (or aspire TO live), and what we can and can not do (destinies are set).

And like a domesticated animal, you have become TAMED!

Tamed from your NATURAL SELF!

Death becomes you as you partake of death. We are what we consume.

It’s funny the more I think about it, due to the fact that most of our people are church-going, spiritual folk. Yet after church on Sundays, where are we running off to?

Church’s Chicken, KFC, Popeye’s, Longhorn’s, Golden Corral, etc., etc., etc.!!! The pastor included. If the pastor is eating dead blood, and he’s suppose to be preaching the Living Word?! Isn’t that a contradiction in itself?

Right.

From my personal experience with abstaining from eating meat, I realized how much work it took my body to break it down. I took a 90 day sabbatical from eating meat and the first time I ate chicken (fried chicken at that!) I felt like my body aching all over for the next 36 hours AFTER EATING IT! Fried chicken (or pretty much anything fried) is a major staple of our cuisine. If my body took this much energy breaking down fried chicken, can you imagine how much it took to break down steak? Or some RIBS???

Some good-ass ribs!!

Advisory Note: The itis (that magical, sleepy, tired feeling you get after eating what is shown above) is NOT a good thing. It leads to all types of health issues or dis-eases such as weight gain, acid reflux, heartburn, strokes, and heart attacks.

I had the itis after eating that chicken. I could physically feel that chicken taking my energy/life force away.  I felt suppa-duppa weak! And ever since then I have be done with meat.

I took a risk in fasting that 90 days. Deep down I knew that there may be a chance that I would never eat meat again. My body would not be able to readjust to breaking it down. My knowledge base BEFORE my fast was expanding; I had already began to cut meat from my diet 3 to 4 days out of week. My life has TRANSFORMED, for the better, because of it.  And I appreciate the lives of animals even more so than before. I appreciate MY LIFE even more so than before.

Eating meat everyday, at least three (3) times a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year takes its toll. You multiply that over a 70 year life span, you would have eaten meat at LEAST 76,650 times in your lifetime. Does not seem like alot, right?

Well, when you factor in the cancer-causing antibiotics you have to treat your meat with..

Along with the fact that your meat may be also processed (contaminated) to preserve its shelf life..

Did you forget about how much energy/life force it takes your body to process that meat, as well as the metaphysical/spiritual side to it?

AND it takes your body NO LESS than 24 hours to digest said meat? When you multiply the 3 times a day we eat meat by 365, it totals to 3 years taken from your life within one (1) year. Now multiply those 3 years by 70; it equals 210 years taken from your life by eating meat 3 times a day!!

Can you IMAGINE living an extra 200 years?! Honestly, YOU CAN’T! Sure all of this foolishness  may be hypothetical and theoretical, but when you think about it, it’s not as far-fetched as many may believe, in my opinion.

As I mentioned before, you are what you consume. DEATH! Which is why we are dying of cancer, heart attacks, strokes, AIDS, even common colds, etc. Our bodies can not breathe and we are over-working our organs. Meat causes your body to become acidic, which causes your body to become toxic.

“But what about protein? You need protein!!”

Ever heard of beans and peas? And there are many, MANY vegetables that pack a major protein punch (spinach, please?) You ever wondered where these animals that we eat get their protein from? You need to cut out the middle man, or middle chicken/cow/pig/fish for that matter.

Eating meat is about as bad as shooting up cocaine or smoking Marlboros. You just don’t see the US government outlawing it or the Surgeon General placing a label on the pack.

Are the powers that be really concerned about our well-being? Oh, I forgot, my eating condition won’t let me think OUTSIDE THE BOX.

For those of you who are still eating meat, I want you to consider taking a step back and think/be conscious about what you are eating at the dinner table. Something was sacrificed for your enjoyment/pleasure. Think about this, if push came to shove, and there were not enough animals to feed the planet, would you eat a HUMAN BEING? If you eat animal flesh everyday, it wouldn’t be a shock if you started to eat HUMAN FLESH.

Is it really that much of a difference???

Peace and love to my melanated family,

The Melanated Man
