a repost: ED vs. EL-Hey McDonald’s — Just Because You Have A Vegan Burger Doesn’t Mean Vegans Will Eat It

“BUYER BEWARE!!!! McDonald’s cannot be trusted.”

By Alanna Ketler

As a teenager I worked at McDonald’s. I became an expert in the drive-thru and even received a round of applause from the staff once during a busy lunch rush for taking every order effectively and without making a single mistake. I loved this job at the time, as it was a lot of fun. Yet I remember the day I questioned why we didn’t have a vegetarian menu, to which my manager responded, “People who don’t eat meat wouldn’t want to eat at McDonald’s even if there were a vegetarian option.” And you know what? I couldn’t agree more.

Not So Fast

I know some of you vegetarians or vegans are out there saying, “Speak for yourself, I’d definitely eat this,” and that’s totally fine. People go vegetarian or vegan for many reasons, and health isn’t always one of them. In fact, being vegan or vegetarian doesn’t always mean being healthy, as you can take on the lifestyle while still eating primarily processed foods like imitation meats made from soy and artificial flavourings, fried foods, vegan sweets, etc. For such people, being vegan or vegetarian is strictly a moral choice, made out of concern for the environment or animal welfare, not in hopes of achieving better health.

However, I think a greater number of vegans and vegetarians gave up animal products in order to improve their health, in addition to their concern for animal welfare. Moreover, strict vegans would not eat this McVegan burger because, even though it does not contain animal products, buying it would still mean supporting a massive corporation that is responsible for the death and slaughter of MILLIONS of animals each year. Essentially, nothing coming from McDonald’s could ever truly be “vegan.”

Vegan for Health Reasons?

It’s unlikely that anyone choosing this diet and lifestyle would want to eat anything from McDonald’s in the first place, except maybe out of curiosity. If Mickey D’s wasn’t a place people went to for health food before, why would it be now? Yet McDonald’s is clearly trying to cash in on this growing market, and some consumers, at least, are happy about it.

The McVegan was launched in Finland last week because customers had been requesting more plant-based and meat-free options. Accompanied by a signature vegan “McFeast” sauce, the burger runs for around the same price as their regular beef or chicken burger.

According to the Marketing Director of McDonal’d’s Finland, Christopher Rönnblad, “We will consider launching the McVegan in all McDonald’s restaurants in Finland in 2018. The decision will depend on our customers opinion on McVegan. The very first test sales results, customer feedback, and the attention the product is getting in different vegan communities are very promising,”

McDonald’s also introduced the Le Grand Veggie Burger in France, which was the first of its kind in the country. This burger features a patty made with carrots and root vegetables, which definitely sounds like a healthier option. There is a growing trend of people choosing to eat less meat in France, and again, it seems like McDonald’s didn’t want to miss the boat on this opportunity. The McVeggie was added to its menus in locations across Norway as well.

The Other Side of the Coin

Perhaps it is a bit too harsh to judge McDonalds for introducing these items to their menus. I mean, at least they are trying, right? Is this a step in the right direction? By giving their customers a vegan option, are they encouraging a plant-based diet? It’s tough to say for sure, but when it comes down to it, it really seems as though McDonald’s is not doing this because they care for the environment, animal welfare, or the health of their customers — they are doing it to tap into a growing market that they traditionally couldn’t access.

So, will these veggie options come to North America? And if so, would YOU try the McVegan or the Le Grand Veggie burger? Let us know in the comments!

Refer to ED vs EL: The Five Different Eating Diets Discovered by our Melanated Ancestors

Breathariansim refers to the practice of sustaining oneself without food. This concept is not new; in fact, for thousands of years, various cultures around the world have written of this ability. In the third book of the Yoga Sutras, for example, approximately 25 Siddhis are listed as having extraordinary abilities. This is a common theme throughout Buddhism, and various other spiritual traditions as well. Clairvoyance and psychokinesis are just some of the special traits attributed to the Siddhis, as is the liberation from hunger and thirst.

Though modern day science has seen evidence of extended human capacities like telepathy, remote viewing, and pre-cognition, very little work has gone into examining breatharianism. Some brilliant minds do believe it’s possible, however, including Nikola Tesla. In 1901, he made the following argument:

My idea is that the development of life must lead to forms of existence that will be possible without nourishment and which will not be shackled by consequent limitations.  Why should a living being not be able to obtain all the energy it needs for the performance of its life functions from the environment, instead of through consumption of food, and transforming, by a complicated process, the energy of chemical combinations into life-sustaining energy?

Liberation from food and hunger does indeed sound unrealistic and, from what we know of modern day biology, impossible. But the history of science has shown us many times that the impossible can become the possible in an instant. A great example of this is the recent discovery that humans can actually influence their autonomic nervous system using the power of the mind.

Let’s take a look at what happened when people who claimed that they don’t eat were examined by science.

Breatharianism

The Qigong practice of Bigu, and other -Qigong practices (which include the liberation from food) examined by science have yielded some extraordinary results. A study published in the American Journal of Chinese Medicine, as seen in the the US National Library of Medicine, demonstrated that a woman with special abilities was and is able to accelerate the germination of specific seeds for the purposes of developing a more robust seed stock. This is one example of many; you can find the study and read more about it here.

The Catholic Charism of India also involves the claim of living well without eating food. Dean Radin, Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, explains the concept in his book Supernormal: Science, Yoga, and the Evidence for Extraordinary Psychic Abilities:

The implication is that the human body can transmute ambient energy into nutrients, and through the practice of cultivating this ability one can live comfortably for as long as one wishes without food, and possibly without drinking water. This is described as a siddhi in the Yoga Sutras as Pada 111.30: liberation from hunger and thirst.

This flies in the face of a substantial body of medical knowledge, which has established that the human body can last about five days without water, and a few weeks at most without food. Beyond that, you’re dead. As a result, despite a host of historical examples of people lasting for years without eating, and sometimes without drinking, most nutritionists and biochemists regard such claims to be ridiculously impossible, and the people who make the claims—currently dozens to hundreds worldwide—to be seriously delusional. Some of those claimants may well be delusional. But all of them?

Prahlad Jani

Prahlad Jani is a local of Ahmedabad, India, who claims that at the age of 11, the Hindu goddess Amba appeared to him and told him that he would no longer have to eat food. He has apparently lived in a cave since the 1970s, and claims not to have eaten anything for most of his 81 years (as of 2012).

Jani was tested in 2003 and in 2010 at Ahmedabad’s Sterling Hospital by Dr. Sudhir Shah and his team of doctors. Dr. Shah is a consultant neurologist who has been practicing for 20 years, as well as a professor and Department Head of Neurology at KM School of PG Medicine and Research.

During the first test, which took place in 2003, Jani was monitored 24/7 by hospital staff and video cameras, where it was confirmed that he neither ate nor drank. He also did not show any physiological changes — a fact which, according to modern day medicine, should be impossible. This test took place over a period of 10 days. Although it might not seem like a significant amount of time, to go 10 days without food and water and not experience any physiological changes is actually quite astounding.

He was tested again at Sterling Hospital in 2010 from April 22 to May 6, observed by 35 researchers from the Indian Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences, among other organizations. This time, Jani did not eat or drink for two weeks. As with the previous test, he exhibited no ill effects from this abstention.

This truly is unbelievable, and goes against everything we know about both human physiology and the nutritional requirements of the body.

As one might expect, neither these tests nor their results were published in medical journals.  The studies have also generated a lot of criticism. The main arguments against these tests were, however, quite weak in my opinion. One argument holds that Jani escaped the scrutiny of the hospital staff and video cameras with the assistance of his disciples, and that he did in fact eat/drink something. Yet hospital staff maintains this is impossible because he was monitored around the clock, as per the requirements of the study.

Even with these criticisms, the evidence is solid and appears to correspond with a known Siddhi.

A statement from a scientific group (which included the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences) given to ABC News back in 2012 reads as follows:

We realized that, if this whole phenomenon really exists in a human being even for 15 days, it would have immense application in unraveling secrets of medical science and its application for human welfare.

Instead of ignoring this case, we selected to investigate further, in a rational and scientific way. We again make it clear that the purpose of this study was not to prove or disprove a person, but to explore a possibility in science and study a new phenomenon.

Michael Werner

Another case comes from a doctor of chemistry named Michael Werner, who is the managing director of a pharmaceutical research institute in Switzerland. This man claims to not have eaten any solid food since January 1, 2001. He was studied in a 10-day observational test in October 2004 by the intensive care unit at a hospital in Switzerland, and as with Jani, displayed no significant or dangerous physiological changes. These results have yet to be published, however.

Dean Radin offers an insightful explanation for why these results might never be published, and for why so little attention has been given to this phenomenon:

Perhaps the most curious aspect of the breatharian tests is the in-your-face nature of the claimed phenomenon and yet an almost complete lack of interest from the scientific community. If it is possible to live well without eating food, this ought to be easy to demonstrate, and if it held up, the scientific and social consequences would be astounding.

The fact is, as with many other observed phenomena that science can’t explain, most researchers regard things like this as ridiculous and extremely unlikely, and therefore don’t even take the time to look into them. They dismiss the claims out of hand rather than approaching them with scientific neutrality and curiosity.

Another reason for this silence could be simple fear; researchers rely on funding from various parties, and they know it will be denied them if the topic seems too ‘out there.’ They also know what kind of criticism they would face from the mainstream scientific community should they go ahead and publish a study on something so esoteric.

Werner learned of breathariansim from an Australian spiritual teacher named Jasmuheen, who teaches how to transition from eating to not eating. And Jasmuheen has also been the subject of a study, but she began showing signs of stress, high blood pressure, and dehydration after just 48 hours.  As most of you reading this know, this is not something you can just go and try without any preparation. It can be very dangerous, and there have been multiple reports of deaths occurring as a result of people engaging in this practice. Clearly, there is much more involved than simply refraining from eating or drinking.

The Science of Fasting

Science is now showing just how beneficial food deprivation can be. Mark Mattson, the current Chief of the Laboratory of Neuroscience at the National Institute on Aging and a Professor of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University, gave a great TED talk on fasting in 2014. This practice has been shown to generate new stem cells, repair DNA, fight cancer, fight both Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, and more.

It’s also interesting to note that all caloric restriction models in animal studies have shown significant health benefits and improvements, including a longer life span.

To learn more about the science of fasting, you can read a more detailed article and watch a TED talk by Dr. Mattson here.

“Am I a Capitalist by Nature or by Nurture?” – The Case for Cooperation over Competition for the Black Melanin-Dominant Man/Woman

Image result for black unity

From the Melanated Man:

Recently I joined a burgeoning co-operative named ULU: Us Lifting Us, based in Atlanta, GA but geared specifically to the Black Melanin-Dominant community. This is the second cooperative (Sevananda Marketplace in Little Five Points of Atlanta) that I have chosen to join in the past 18 months. Both are ran and owned by a majority Black-Melanin Dominant populace, yet ULU only allows those of Black-African decent to purchase ownership.

I really do love and value my individuality, which is what gave me the confidence to create The Melanin Man blog. Yet when it comes to the task of uplifting my Black Melanin-Dominant brothers and sisters around the globe, I am only one cog within a larger apparatus. Which is why their are many more Black African minded bloggers besides myself to share the load as well. And that conviction is only magnified further by my personal decision to join within cooperatives that will directly benefit my peoples economically.

I have touched on the idea of entrepreneurship for the Black-Melanin Dominant once before. And to elaborate even further, I am of the opinion that entrepreneurship in its modern form is NOT NATURAL to the archetypal Black-Melanin Dominant men and women.  When it comes to “doing your own thang”, starting your own  business/company, one must first question their motives and intentions.

I know you may be working for a company that doesn’t value your TRUE worth, making kibbles and bits while the company continues to make millions off you. I know you may be tired of “dealing with white folk” on a daily basis, playing office politics, steadily trying to climb that ever elusive corporate ladder. I know you want to break away from the corporate version of the PLANTATION.

Trust me, I GET IT.

But besides the potential financial freedom that could be available to you and your immediate family, is your decision to delve into this Europeanized version of entrepreneurship really going to benefit your community? Our community, brothers and sisters, is NOT a charity nor a measly donation.

It is OUR responsibility to care and nurture it.

Again, is  capitalism by way of entrepreneurship the way to build up our community, brothers and sistas? For the longest I have had a huge ideological conflict with conforming to capitalism, even before I became more aware of the precarious conditions of the  Black-Melanin Dominant populace on the world stage. At times I’d ask myself, “Is this  really the ONLY effective way to make a living?”

For capitalism to thrive, not only do you need to develop new markets but you need to preserve your current markets as well (i.e. “keep them happy and coming back for more.” ) I don’t believe perpetuating, let alone participating in, a system that takes advantage of another. People’s needs can easily be manipulated, and they have been, just to keep the wheels rolling. Even the simple, sacred occupations that we choose to take up and we insist our children to do the same have been defiled by capitalism:

-Doctors in Western society won’t remain employed if their patients don’t get (and REMAIN) sick (see a repost: Medical Doctors: Are They Killing Us?  )

-There would be no reason for engineers to design the latest and greatest  (from cellphones to cars) with small incremental changes year to year if people as a whole decide to drive and keep the devices and contraptions for longer periods of time.

-Lawyers can’t make a buck while exploiting the law through a bias and corrupted justice code, and taking advantage of Western-induced stressful relationships through the current divorce racket.

And the list goes on and on and on and on…

Capitalism has been embedded in every fabric of our society, effecting the Black Melanin-Dominant man and woman the most, in  my opinion. We have been forced to embrace an acidic ideology, knowingly and unknowingly screwing each other over like crabs in a bucket just to “make a living.”  And when you began to embrace capitalism, TEN TIMES OUT OF TEN you tend to compromise your skills, your talents, your creativity, and ultimately your integrity to make a buck.  Are we rightfully serving the Black Melanin-Dominant community this way? Or are we simply just a group of BLACK-FACED small businesses in competition with one another? Our participation within this paradigm is hindering our progression toward true  SELF-DETERMINATION and SELF-RELIANCE.

There was once a time not too long ago where the idea of cooperation reigned supreme amongst our people. Within ancient African culture, the first and only one that matters when it comes to the world’s origins, it was THE foundation of our culture. It was expressed through the arts, education, economies, the family…all aspects of life.  It was understood that the individual was crucial and important to the stability of the collective. Yet at the end of the day, NO MAN OR WOMAN was greater than the collective. Not to say that it was perfect by any stretch of the imagination. More than likely our ancestors had their fair share of issues (i.e. past and present African tribalism)  amongst themselves. Nevertheless, it was (and still is) the essence of our DNA. Despite any incremental intricacies amongst any given tribe or nation of us, at the end of the day, we are still ONE people (check out the African constitution written in  Chancellor Williams “The Destruction of Black Civilization.” It accurately illustrates the core tenets of our culture once upon a time.)

Do you find lions organizing with hyenas? Do you see bears conversing with wolves? (If you have see any of this with your own naked eyes let me know.) I say this to say that we family need to stick together and be prejudice when it comes to taking care of business and one another, no matter our  personal background and circumstances. You may not agree with me, but I personally believe I have more in common with a drug dealer or serial criminal offender who is Black Melanin-Dominant than the guy/gal working in a cubicle next to me who is Arab/Asian/Caucasian with a seemingly kosher lifestyle. The only REAL difference between me and the drug dealer/serial drug offender is our response to the European colonialist construct we have been pressed to endure in spite of TRUE NATURE as a melanin-rich people.

Collective consciousness is indeed rising around the glove. Yet, the cream of the crop must take their rightful place on top.

My brothers and sisters, you are NOT my competition. You are my allies, my family. We must begin to work along, for, and with one another to reclaim that top spot once more.

It’s time to turn those words, the rhetoric we have been preaching, into tangible action.

Graduating from “Thank Ya” Jesus

thank-you-lawd-jesus

From The Melanin Man:

From everything that is going on in the world these days, from the Las Vegas “massacre”, the shenanigans protests of the NFL, the undercover manipulation erratic and hectic hurricane season, YOU NAME IT, I can honestly say it is extremely difficult to keep attention on your own personal affairs. Granted, I have empathy and sympathy for those who were/are deeply affected by such travesties (minus the drama surrounding the NFL, which is a load of crap.) But there are just so many distractions in this paradigm that the most disciplined individual can get deeply side-tracked from their own development if they’re not careful.

Hence, which is part of the reason I am typing this long overdue post.

I have written many iterations of this sensitive topic, in my head. Some iterations were a little too emotional. Others were too safe and conservative. Then there were some iterations that were totally out in left field , totally off topic.

But now I feel like the one I am typing now fits my current perspective the best. And here goes…

Like the majority  Black-Melanin Dominant folk born and raised in the Deep South, I was well-versed on the story and miracles of JEEEEE-SUS.

Jesus walked on water.

Jesus helped a blind man see.

Jesus turned water into wine.

Jesus fed the multitude with five loaves and two fish.

Jesus died on the cross to save a wretched world from its sins… and resurrected three days later for kicks and giggles.

And just like the majority of Black-Melanin Dominant folk in the South, I was pressed to aspire to be like Jesus, in all facets of his life. (remember those WWJD? bracelets?) I was encouraged to call out the name of Jesus in my times of trouble, to ask for his protection and guidance in those moments when I needed it the most.

From the dinner table to the bedroom. You know the life, fam.

I could not EAT A MEAL at the dinner without first giving reverence to the man. I remember those many, many nights I was on my knees before I went to sleep, giving him even more reverence as if I did not just do the same at dinner only a few hours earlier.

“Can I get an AMEN, family?”

On the surface, there is nothing wrong with this lifestyle….honoring Jesus’ existence, constantly thanking him for his sacrifices to humanity as a whole,  aspiring to be like a man who was essentially God in the flesh! That sounds like a stable upbringing to me. My parents and elders trained me in the direction that I should go. This seems righteous and just…on the surface.

That upbringing sustained me through a complex childhood to the early years of an even more complex adulthood. So it had to have some validity to it. Right?!

Even though “Thank Ya” Jesus held me down during that time, I had unconventional questions that I could never answer with my conventional mind and thinking process, such as…

Who were God’s parents?

Why was God lonely?

What does God look like?

And the list goes on and on and on and on…

My life experiences (some of which are mentioned in the My Transformation post series and my impending memoir) and newfound desire for knowledge altered my perspective on not only on Mr. “Thank Ya” Jesus Christ, but Christianity and religion as a whole.

By unearthing a far-too-long neglected appreciation  for my Black-melanated skin,  for a very brief moment I was on the “Jesus is actually Black” tip. But that didn’t hold water with me for long because I knew their had to be more involved than simple skin color.

black jesus

My thirst for more truth led me into stumbling upon the little known fact that ALL world religions, from Buddhism to Judaism, owe its existence to the ancient African spiritual systems (see Ancient Egyptian mythology.) Which led me to an even more well-kept secret that the story of Jesus has an eerie similarity to other sacrificial savior-like tales such as those of the Egyptian God Heru, Buddha, Krishna, etc.has an eerie similarity to other sacrificial savior-like tales such as those of the Egyptian God Heru, Buddha, Krishna, etc.

With all of the information available in the world that makes a pretty convincing case that Jesus is more fairy tale like the Easter Bunny than actual factual real to the realest, common sense started to take over. And then one day I came to this realization…

There was one (if he even existed) Jesus Christ, and there will never be another.

There is only one me (I am NOT a robot and I DO EXIST!), there will NEVER be another!

This may sound like blasphemy to my God-fearing, Jesus-loving readers, but to those of you who are gifted with an abundance of melanin and are considered Black by the general public, YOU ARE AS GREAT AND IMPORTANT AS THE DEIFIED JESUS CHRIST!

Quick tidbit: The Bible, the GOOD BOOK, is not a literal interpretation of past events and simple morality instructions of. It is an  ASTROLOGICAL, METAPHYSICAL, SCIENTIFIC text detailing the inner workings of the Black Melanin-Dominant body/temple and it’s relationship between it and the cosmos.

“As above, so below.” Remember? We have to disregard the propaganda that has been pushed on us since Day 1.

We are not the CURSE of Ham!

We should be not obedient to our slave masters, seeking our riches in “heaven” after death.  (And no, slavery has not ended. It has only evolved into the “modern rat race.”)

The Bible was written by Ancient Africans THEMSELVES, in such a way that could not be detected by outsiders and intruders (Non-melanated individuals!) They foretold of a fall from grace that was upon us and is currently tragically playing out. They wrote in code through parables and tales to remind us of how we can retrieve our that GOD-self and our rightful position on this planet, through our BLACK-MELANATED temples.

This is OUR story, family. Truly I believe with all of my heart and might that it is. And Jesus is only one of many examples (in the Christian canon and not) that reminds us of how we can return to the GOD-self that is within US!

Turning water into wine? What happens when you breath in oxygen to your lungs.

Helping a blind man see? What is the current state of Black Melanin-Dominant Man and Woman?

Dying on the cross, saving us from our sins? Sounds similar to shunning your flesh, your earthly, mundane desires to seek the God within yourself!

Trust me, there is many, many more interpretations.

Jacob’s ladder? How about the rising of the Kundalini  energy?

The seven seals mentioned in Revelations? Aren’t their SEVEN chakras, fam?

Image result for chakras

Let me stop. I can go on and on. I give special thanks to the Elders who were able to decode the knowledge bestowed upon us by the ancestors that I am sharing with you…Dr. Valentine, Bobby Hemmitt, Dr. Blair, and that list goes on and on as well. I am grateful to have came across this perspective. Although I’m forever being enlightened and learning everyday, I think this is THE TRUTH. It resonates with me to the infinite percentile.

Because of its resonance, I’ve ceased to give reverence to a reference that is referring to me. I have graduated from mere external worship and turned my attention inward to uplifting myself toward a God-like frequency.  I, we, can obtain the kingdom of Heaven right here on Earth once again if we stop looking outside of ourselves for the answers we seek.

We must begin look within ourselves INTO THE NOTHINGNESS we have been gifted with.

We have the DARK MATTER within us to reach our limitless potential.

We are the TRUE, REAL essence of the Creator.

Jesus may or may not have been real, but you most definitely are (AGAIN… if you’re not a robot reading this lol.)

And that should mean something.

Peace and Love to my melanated family,

The Melanin Man

Question of the Day: Sugar over SEX?! REALLY?!

Image result for sugar over love

From the Melanin Man:

I read this article the other day on Natural News (check it out: Sugar over sex? Almost half of those polled would rather give up sex for a year than sacrifice their daily sugar hit, dated September 22, 2017) that mentioned a recent poll conducted on Brits that they would rather give up sex for a year than sacrifice their daily hit of SUGAR!

That blew me away. It amazes that sugar is not considered illegal by the government. Oh wait, let me stop being delusional. The world will literally have to come to an end for that to occur (wasn’t that suppose to happen on Saturday, September 23?)

To paraphrase Dave Chappelle ala Rick James, “Sugar’s a HELLUVA drug!”

I have to ask fam, would you choose to give up sex for a year for SUGAR??

I asked my wife that same exact question, and needless to say I was disappointed in her response. I must not be doing my job in the bedroom good enough. SMH.

PLEASE leave a comment with your answer. I’m very curious to know. Going to start my own poll and see whether we’re too far gone than I realize.

a repost: How You Were Tricked to Live in the Land of the Legally Dead?

Article originally posted on Waking Times

Pao L. Chang-September 16, 2017

The current reality of man is heavily controlled by words. As a result of that, words play a big role in shaping the reality and culture of man. Besides shaping the reality and culture of man, words also play an important role in trade. Some of the most important words used in the business of trading goods and services are related to the name. Your name plays a very important role in your life because it allows others to identify you and communicate with you. Furthermore, it allows you to operate in the realm of commerce and fiction, making it easier for you to trade goods and services with people not living close to you.

Having a name can be a wonderful thing but if you do not know how to use it wisely, it can be a curse and prevent you from living a happy life. One of the ways that your name can curse you is when you allow it to bond to your mind too deeply, causing you to think that your name is who you really are. Your name has the power to trick your mind because it is made up of sigils (letters). Because of this, it is important to use your name wisely, so you do not become a victim of your name.

When you do not know how to use your name wisely, the Dark Magicians or the Elite can use it to imprison your body, mind and soul in the “land” of the legally DEAD. The best time to trick you to “live” in the land of the legally dead or the “sea” of the legally dead is on the day your mother gave “birth” to you.

How You Were Tricked to Live in the Land of the Legally Dead

The contract that the government used to trick your mother and father to agree to allow you to live in the “land” or “sea” of the legally dead is the birth certificate. This certificate is actually a certificate of a dead baby, which is why it has a legal name written on it. The name or legal name is not you because your are living and made of flesh and blood. For evidence showing that the birth certificate is a death certificate, read my informative article titled The Law and You: How the Birth Certificate is Used to Take Away Your Natural Rights.

It is interesting to know that when you look up the word birth in A Dictionary of Law (1889), it tells you to “see Abandon, 2 (2)”. The word abandon in section 2 (2) is defined by A Dictionary of Law (1889) using these exact words: “The act of a parent in exposing an infant of tender years (usually under seven) in any place, with intent wholly to desert it.”

Based on the definition in the previous paragraph, when your mother gave birth to you and your parents signed the birth certificate with your name on it, they unknowingly agreed to abandon you. This allowed the State to claim “you” as its property and ship “you” to the land of the legally dead (legal fiction). Be aware that the word birth sounds almost identical to the word berth. Because they sound nearly identical, a judge or government agent can use them to trick you to think that he is talking about birth when he is actually talking about berth and vice versa. The word berth is defined as “sufficient space for a vessel to maneuver; sea room” or “a space for a vessel to dock or anchor”.

Here is an excerpt from my Amazon best seller book titled Word Magic: The Powers & Occult Definitions of Words that reveals how words are used to deceive you:

When a ship is in the process of being docked, it is being guided to come to berth. The word berth is defined as “a space for a vessel to dock or anchor”.33 Based on this information, when a product is unloaded onto the dock, it just went through the berthing process, which is the process of delivering the product from the vessel/ship onto the dock.

Phonetically, the word berth sounds like the word birth. This is why when a woman is in the process of giving birth, she is said to be delivering a baby. The birthing process of a baby is related to the process of delivering a product on a ship. Every woman has a body. Another word for body is vessel. A vessel can also be called a ship. The words body, vessel, and ship can all mean the same thing and be used to represent a woman’s body. This is why a ship is often referred to as “she” and the main ship is often called the “mother ship”.

To connect the dots, the process of a woman giving birth can also be defined as the process of delivering or berthing a product of a ship. Metaphorically speaking, the product is the baby and the ship is the woman’s body. When you compare all the information that you just read about commerce and the sea business to the process of birthing a baby, you will see a strong connection between the berthing process of a ship and the birthing process of a baby.

By spelling the words berth and birth slightly different and making them sound almost the same, the Dark Forces and their minions (the Dark Magicians) can trick you to agree to be a product of a ship, so that they can have jurisdiction over you. They know that they can not have jurisdiction over the real you (the living, breathing man or woman made of flesh and blood), which is why they need you to consent to be an artificial person, so that they can treat you like a product and make money by selling you on the stock market.”

The process of tricking you to agree to be an artificial person is mostly done through the legal system, which is the system that deals with the DEAD. The legal system is controlled by the Vatican of the Holy Roman Empire, one of the biggest practitioners of magic spells. The legal system is obsessed with magic spells, because certain magic spells have the power to summon the dead. This is why before a judge (also known as a magistrate/magi-strate, which is a magician) demands you to appear in court, a court agent needs to serve you a summons letter.

Why a Summons Letter Is Used to Summon the DEAD

When a court agent serves you a summons letter, the first question he asks you is often related to your legal name, which 99 percent of the time is written in all capital letters on legal documents. For example, the court agent may ask you the question “are you JOHN DOE?” If you were to answer yes to being your legal name and accept the summons letter, you would basically agree to play the role of a dead character. This occurs because the legal name is not living; instead it is a fictitious entity that has no life force of its own. As a result of that, it is as dead as a fictional character in a storybook. The summons letter is used to summon the dead using you (the living man or woman) as the medium. This is why a court agent has to serve you a summons letter with your legal name on it before a judge can demand you to appear in court.

To connect the dots, when you accept a summons letter, whether you realize it or not, you agree to raise the dead so you can play the role of a dead character. In other words, you agree to be a zombie. This is why it is called a summons letter. What do witches do when they want to communicate with dead spirits? They summon them using certain magic spells.

Have you seen the TV series The Walking Dead? In this TV series, the zombies represent the sheeple who do not even realize that they are legally dead. In other words, from the perspective of the the Dark Magicians, you are the walking dead, get it? The zombie apocalypse is not something that could happen in the future. It is already here because the people are, in a sense, the walking dead!

To learn how to free yourself from the land or sea of the legally dead, you need to learn how to use words wisely. Furthermore, you need to learn how to use the power of Natural Law to exercise your natural rights. To learn how to do these things, visit my website EsotericKnowledge.me and become a member.

S.D. Wells- September 18, 2017

(Natural News) It’s so easy to say you are living a healthy life when you are safeguarding what you eat and drink, trying to stick to mostly organic and raw whole foods, but millions of Americans often forget the fact that their skin is their largest organ, and most body care products are loaded with allergens, irritants and carcinogenic chemicals that are easily absorbed by their porous skin and thus enter the blood and lymphatic system. Never underestimate how easily chemicals we breathe in or put on our skin have just as much effect on our health as what we consume.

What’s worse is that the personal care products industry as a whole has virtually no regulations or inspections from the FDA, so companies and corporations literally “get away with murder” regarding a slow poisoning of people who don’t pay attention to ingredients or know the names of the “repeat offenders” that are found in thousands of products.

You won’t believe how fast and easily the skin absorbs dangerous chemicals. Skin absorption rates for chemicals were tested and published in the American Journal of Public Health. Fragrance ingredients are absorbed at an astonishing 100 percent rate. Your face, underarms and genitalia are also much more vulnerable to absorbing toxins than other broader body surfaces, so be extra careful when inspecting ingredients in soaps, cosmetics, deodorants, antiperspirants and powders. Take extra special care to inspect baby products also, which are barely regulated at all for health safety. Here are some rules of thumb to abide by when selecting body care products.

If you cannot pronounce an ingredient and you would not eat it, you probably should NOT put it on your skin, hair, lips or fingernails

Do the ingredient lists in most body care products you buy look like formulas for chemistry class experiments? You may be wondering how the heck these ingredients are supposed to help you take care of your body, and that’s because they don’t. Fancy words like preservatives, additives, fragrances, emulsifiers, conditioners, smoothing agents, straightening agents and derivatives might simply mean YOU and your children are the guinea pigs for untested, unregulated chemistry experiments, and you could wind up in a laboratory being studied for some disease or disorder the doctors and scientists just can’t seem to “find a cure” for at all.

Here are some common chemicals you may find in the cocktails and concoctions sold as “all natural” or “pure and natural.” Some corporations and companies that brag about using organic ingredients will still add in other chemicals and toxic agents that lead to health problems, so you really have to read the entire ingredients list carefully and be your own filter. Some products will brag about not containing two or three popular toxins, but then still include plenty of other carcinogens. Watch out for these body care “criminals:”

  • Phthalates
  • Parabens
  • Phenoxyethanol
  • Sodium Luaroyl Sarcosinate
  • Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
  • Sodium Laueth Sulfate (SLES)
  • Sulfates
  • Tocopheryl acetate
  • Cyclotetrasiloxane
  • Cocoamidopropyl Betaine
  • Olefin Sulfonate
  • Petroleum and petroleum-based derivatives (industrial chemicals often listed as coloring and dyes)
  • Disodium EDTA
  • BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene)
  • Titanium dioxide
  • Methylparaben
  • Iodopropynyl buutylcarbamate
  • Polyisobutene (a synthetic polymer)
  • Cocamide DEA
  • MIT (Methylisothiazolinone)
  • Triclosan
  • Formaldehyde
  • Toluene

The Cosmetic “Dirty Dozen” – Beautifying ingredients that aren’t very “pretty” at all

One out of every eight beauty product ingredients are actually industrial chemicals. This means if you put them on your skin, hair, lips or fingernails, your body will be absorbing pesticides, hormone disruptors, reproductive toxins, plasticizers, surfactants, paints, inks, degreasers and other cancer-causing agents. A U.S. researchers report on toxic beauty product ingredients found that at least 80 percent of cosmetics contain at least one of the following toxic chemicals:

– BHA and BHT (often found in makeup and moisturizers)

– Coal tar dyes listed as “CI” with a five digit number (watch for p-phenylenediamine and FD&C Blue No. 1)
– DEA, MEA and TEA – chemicals that are already proven harmful to fish and wildlife (remember humans are animals too)

– Dibutyl phthalate (check your nail care products)

– Formaldehyde (embalming fluid for the dead) and Urea (animal urine that slowly releases formaldehyde) “preservatives”

– Parabens

– Parfum or fragrance (also listed as “unscented”) – linked to asthma, allergies, neurotoxic effects and cancer

– PEG compounds (may include 1,4-dioxane cancer-causing ingredient and/or propylene glycol)

– Petrolatum (could be contaminated with cancer-causing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or “PAHs”)

– Siloxanes and Methicones (used for smoothing, softening and moisturizing agents)

– Sodium Laureth (or Lauryl) Sulfate (foaming agent for shampoos, bubble bath, cleansers and cosmetics often contaminated with 1,4-dioxane)

– Triclosan (often found in toothpastes, antiperspirants, cleansers) – contributes to antibiotic resistant bacteria and can be an endocrine disruptor for humans.

Just how many of the 7 most common body care toxins are YOU using daily?

#1. Antibacterial hand cleansers (destroys good bacteria too)

#2. Talc (baby powder, foot powder, body powder)

#3. Petroleum (common lip balms, baby oils and Vaseline)

#4. Phthalates

#5. Sodium lauryl sulfate

#6. Parabens

#7. Lead (common in lipstick)

ED vs. EL: a repost- What You Need To Know About The Connection Between Sugar & Your Mental Health

Article originally posted on Collective-Evolution

Alanna Ketler-September 21, 2017

For most of us, sugar is an essential part of our days. Think about how often you start craving ice cream, chocolate, or candy whenever you find  yourself down or stressed. For myself, despite my understanding that sugar is toxic and therefore doing my best to avoid it, I still crave a sugary treat when I am in these lowered states. We use sugar to soothe, to energize, and to reward ourselves for a job well done, often without even realizing it.

Disclaimer: The reference to sugar in this article is about added sugars, not sugars that are naturally found in fruits and vegetables.

So, Why Is This?

A study recently published in Scientific Reports found that there was a greater risk of depression among men whose diets were high in sugar.

You may be thinking that this makes sense because feeling depressed may lead to more sugar consumption rather than the other way around, but it seems as though, like many other drug addictions, this is a vicious cycle that we can easily fall into if we are not careful.

Researchers determined that, in many cases, sugar consumption actually occurred before depression, rather than being a consequence of it. An increasing number of studies have been emerging which explore the implications of diet on mental health, especially with the knowledge that up to 90% of our serotonin is produced in our gut — aptly giving the gut the name of our second brain. It has been difficult, however, to determine exactly how they are linked.

How Are Diet and Mental Health Linked?

A study conducted in 2002 monitoring the overall sugar consumption per person in six different countries — including Canada, France, Germany, Korea, New Zealand, and the United States — was able to connect the instance of sugar consumption to higher rates of major depression.

Since then, other research teams have also investigated the effect of diet on mental health. Two studies determined that eating fast foods like hamburgers, pizza, french fries, and other fried foods correlated with higher rates of depression in both children and adults.

Another study showed that female seniors from the United States with high levels of sugar in their diet also had greater rates of depression than those who consumed less sugar.

Another study determined that adults who drank unsweetened tea, compared to those who drank soft drinks, had lower rates of depression.

Does Sugar Affect Our Neurons?

Neurons are highly sensitive cells, and aren’t really designed to handle blood sugar spikes. Because of this, those suffering from diabetes are at a greater risk for neuronal damage, and scientists are now starting to understand how this can be linked directly to high blood sugar.

Researchers from the Department of Neurobiology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China, performed a study on diabetic rats and discovered that high blood glucose led to neural inflammation and damage.

This same group also discovered that even neurons grown in the laboratory showed increased inflammation when exposed to high levels of glucose.

Does Sugar Affect Our Cognitive Ability?

A review of several studies written by Margaret Morris, Ph.D., a professor of pharmacology in the School of Medical Sciences of the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and her team of researchers, determined that high rates of sugar consumption directly correlated with mild cognitive impairment in both seniors and children.

This group was also able to show that, after being put on a high sugar diet for just five days, laboratory rats had difficulty recognizing familiar places, a problem that went hand in hand with the inflammation and oxidative stress their brains had suffered.

Test This Theory for Yourself

Are you wondering if the sugar in your diet has been impacting your mood? Well, there is one way that you can easily find out: Limit your consumption, or even cut out all added sugars in your diet entirely. If you are a heavy consumer of sugar, then you will likely experience some detox symptoms, so it may take several weeks to see if your mood or general well-being improves after limiting or cutting out sugar altogether.

Limiting the amount of sugar you consume will benefit your physical health as well. To read more about how quitting sugar can have a positive impact on your health, check out the related CE articles below.

a repost: What Exactly Do We Really Have Ownership Of?

Article originally posted on Waking Times

RJ Spina- September 21, 2017

With the horrific weather anomalies and natural disasters currently happening across the globe, it moved my attention towards all the challenges these Souls are being forced to accept in working with these situations and the subsequent effect it has on their lives. All the energy spent on worrying, fear, preparation, planning, recovery and rebuilding in order to protect life and objects. My heart goes out to everyone who is struggling because of this. The obstacles and challenges in life are an integral part of the journey itself and are needed in order to force us to grow in our awareness, our love, our wisdom and our power.

The observation of these recent events led to a feeling inside my heart. This sensation, once fully clothed with empathy, compassion and the gentle guide of wisdom gives rise to inspiration in the form of a single thought… the concept of ownership.

What is it that we actually own? Certainly not our possessions. We don’t take them with us when we exit this concept of “life” so at best they are on loan, temporarily. Maybe all physical goods represent the result of our misdirected attention being placed on the illusory sensory realm or the “outside” world, the realm of the five senses. If we accept that we don’t ever own any material goods maybe that would free us from worry and concern over them and allow us to simply partake of the temporary sensory experience of them without attachment via ownership. Maybe we would see all physical goods in a different light with this understanding.

What about ownership in regards to our friendships and family? Relationships are a two-way street so having expectations of someone’s behavior, acceptance, attention, love or interest is not up to us, so all seemingly external interactions with others, even family and friends, are fickle. That does not fit the concept of ownership.

How about our thoughts? Surely we own those. No, we experience thoughts, only momentarily, which consist of the trillions of desires left behind by those who have come before us, including our own incarnations, as the collective consciousness. These desires are electrical impulses perceived and translated by our mind into what we experience as thoughts that randomly pop in and out of our head whenever we place our attention in our head. Ownership, no, not with thoughts. Most people would say they can’t control the thoughts that pop into their head so ownership is not accurate when it comes to thoughts.

What about our emotions? There has never been a single emotion that you have ever experienced that you can somehow claim ownership of. And whatever emotion you may be feeling currently, or have felt previously, will eventually will fade away just like the thoughts that pop in and out of your head. This is not ownership.

How about our actions? It seems the Law of Cause and Effect is in play here, but not ownership. Essentially, whatever is set in motion that is not Love must return to its origination point in order to experience its effect. Consciousness is ultimately responsible for everything it emanates, be it thought, emotion or action but there is no ownership there.

This holy trifecta of thought, emotion and action are specific filters or avenues in which consciousness can experience itself reflected back to itself through the illusory “outside” world. What you put out, you get back has been said before in many ways by many people since the dawn of time.

What about owning our individual bodies? If we took it with us when we exit this physical experience, then definitely, but we don’t so there can be no claim of ownership with the body either. Temporary use, yes, but not ownership. There doesn’t seem to be any real ownership with goods, thoughts, emotions, actions or the body.

What about experiences themselves? There is “something” that sits just to the left of your heart, right in the center of your chest. Call it a Soul or Sentience or Awareness or Consciousness, that seems to author through free will and witnesses through comprehension the experiences of your life, but you can’t claim ownership to experiences simply because you participated or retain a remembrance.

Your memory fades too, doesn’t it? Everything, eventually, just seems to disappear. The past is gone and cannot be experienced again. The present is perpetually slipping into the past and will be lost within the mists of time. Nobody owns the future since it isn’t here yet and once the future arrives, it will only momentarily be the present which immediately slips into the past. There is no ownership there either.

It seems as if there is no such thing as lasting or real ownership of anything. There is consciousness or awareness experiencing itself but this does not imply ownership, only experience and potential comprehension. If this is so, why and what are we destroying ourselves and each other over in order to perpetuate or protect?

The false ownership of a separate, fake identity or the Ego and its misguided claims of ownership. This identity, which essentially is made up of a series of random thoughts, experiences and emotions that we decided to identify with and turn them into beliefs and a separate self (identity); a limited belief of who we think we are and how we feel about ourself. We don’t own those beliefs or false identities but rather we experience them reflected back to us and yet we will defend and protect them no matter what the cost.

Why? Because the mind/ego tells us, through the influence of the sensory realm, that we must exist as a separate entity, and all these thoughts, goods, my body, emotions and experiences define me, in fact, they are me. They have to be me and mine. Because if I don’t own them, and if they are not me, then who am I?

Ask yourself that very question. See what answer you get. Don’t tell yourself a story or reel off a resume, demand to know, “Who am I?” The mind will have absolutely no answer. It’s because there is no who. There is no separate identity. There is only one Spirit moving through us all, God/Source. Surrender to this truth and return to your immortality as you experience this temporary life.

The conscious knowingness that we are One is inevitable and is our ancient future once again. The moment you live your life this way, you will experience true Freedom and Joy. The liberation from the empty concept of self and ownership perpetuated by the false identity or Egoic mind is enlightened consciousness itself. Step out of that shadow forever, your self-imposed prison and into the Light. The very Light of Source that emanates from your heart and onto the screen of life that is consciousness itself.

There is no ownership because ownership implies separation and there is only The One expressing itself as the many. Forget, past, present and future. They are concepts of the mind, products of finite consciousness within the limited sensory realm. There is only here and now. It’s where time and space meet and cancel each other out. Where infinite consciousness experiences itself, reflected back to itself, through the cosmic play of existence itself. And YOU are THAT and YOU are FREE if you would only know it in your heart.

Place your attention on the center of your chest. Stay right there. And just let go…

Love to you all, always. Om.

Namaste.

a repost: 10 Products Linked To Cancer That Are Hiding In Almost Every Home

Article originally posted on Collective-Evolution

Kalee Brown-September 12, 2017

Do you ever walk through someone’s home and take note of items that could potentially be hazardous to their health? I know I do! I don’t mean to judge, but I can’t help but notice when people have fluoride-filled toothpaste sitting on their bathroom counters or chemical-ridden cleaners hiding in their cabinets. But, what if some of these items are sitting in your own home?

Most people have toxic products linked to cancer in every corner of their homes, often without even realizing it. It’s not like the labels of these products all have a huge warning sign that reads, “I can cause cancer!”

Nevertheless, whether people knowingly purchase these cancer-causing products or not, we need to educate one another on their potential harmful effects.

The following list highlights some of the most popular products found in North American homes that are linked to cancer:

1. Shampoo

One of the most common items hiding in most people’s homes are chemical-ridden hair products, particularly shampoos and conditioners. Some of the typical chemicals within conventional shampoos include sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), parfum/fragrance, parabens, synthetic colours, and more.

Parabens are a known carcinogen, as they’re directly associated with different types of cancer; for example, one study found that 99% of breast cancer tissues tested had parabens in them. Some common ingredients in parfum/synthetic fragrances are benzene derivatives, aldehydes, phthalates, and many other toxins associated with cancer, birth defects, nervous-system disorders, and allergies.

Head & Shoulders specifically contains fragrance, synthetic colours, and SLS, amongst a myriad of other chemicals in the toxic cocktail that makes up their shampoos and conditioners. Some of their shampoo products also contain methylchloroisothiazolinone, a potential mutagen.

2. Non-Stick Cookware

When I first discovered non-stick cookware, I absolutely loved it! That was, until I found out about the potential health risks that come with cooking with these products. The issue is that non-stick cookware is created using a synthetic coating of polytetrafluoroethylene, otherwise known as Teflon, a plastic polymer that will actually release toxins when heated at 450 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

One study found that heating cookware coated with Teflon for only two to five minutes on a conventional stovetop can cause the coating to break apart and emit toxic particles and gases. Even just inhaling these once can cause people to become sick with what’s known as the “Teflon flu.”

Some of the chemicals within that coating are also considered potential carcinogens.

3. Artificial Sweeteners

Artificial sweeteners are in so many products, and one of the most prevalent ones used is aspartame. Aspartame is commonly thought to only be in diet sodas, but it’s often added to teas, energy drinks, protein shakes, milk products, juices, and other artificially flavoured beverages. Aspartame has been linked to numerous health problems, including cancer.

There’s been a lot of controversy surrounding the aspartame/cancer link, and many corporations that profit off aspartame have funded research in efforts to disprove the causal link. However, a study performed in 2007 showed that aspartame can cause leukemias/lymphomas and mammary (breast) cancer.

Instead of using artificial sweeteners, try a natural alternative such as maple syrup, raw honey, Xylitol, Stevia, organic cane sugar, or dates.

4. Plastic Bottles and Food Containers

So much of our “food” comes in plastic bags, containers, and bottles. Even our fruits and vegetables are commonly wrapped in plastic. Not only is this extremely wasteful and bad for the environment, but it isn’t very good for our health, either.

If you’re drinking from a plastic water bottle, the chemicals within that plastic that are touching your lips can literally seep into your mouth, especially if your water has been sitting in the bottle for a while. Left your bottle in a hot car? That’s even worse, as the heat expedites this chemical leaching.

You’ve probably noticed more and more “BPA-free” labels on plastic bottles, and that’s because people have become increasingly aware of how using plastic containers can harm our health, as many contain BPA, which can cause cancer in people.

An easy solution is to use a refillable water bottle and glassware, which is not only better for your own health, but the health of the environment, too.

5. Air Fresheners

This is a big one. Air fresheners are all over people’s houses; from bedrooms to bathrooms to cars, people love them. Typically they’re made with synthetic fragrance, otherwise known as parfum. Parfum is basically a cocktail of toxic chemicals, but instead of listing all of these chemicals on the back of products, it’s conveniently labelled as “parfum” so that companies can keep their signature fragrance a trade secret.

Unfortunately, this also allows companies to hide harmful ingredients, many of which are known carcinogens, in their products without the consumer even knowing.

For a more natural alternative, try brands like Saje Natural Wellness or DoTerra, or make your own using essential oils and water! You could even use natural disinfectants like tea tree and pine essential oils.

6. Conventional Cleaners

Most families have an entire shelf filled with toxic cleaners because corporations convince consumers they need different products to clean specific surfaces. Even though most of these products have toxic warning signs on them that clearly state they’re poisonous and/or corrosive, people continue to, quite literally, buy into this corporate propaganda. Not only are they breathing in these fumes while cleaning, but so are any of their household visitors and/or children.

According to the David Suzuki Foundation, some of the common chemicals found in household cleaning products include 2-BE (causes reproductive problems), ammonia (associated with kidney and live damage), coal tar dyes (causes cancer and harms nervous system), and the infamous “fragrance” or parfum. For an all-natural, all-purpose household cleaner, check out Dr. Bronner’s.

7. Toothpaste

Commercial toothpastes primarily use toxic substances as a means to “clean your mouth,” as the ingredients in regular toothpastes can cause enamel damage, dental flourosis, stomach ailments, skin rashes, and more.

One of the worst ingredients found in most conventional and “dentist approved” toothpastes is fluoride, a known carcinogen. Fluoride has been a known neurotoxin for a long time, but the government claims it benefits our teeth. In reality, it hasn’t actually been proven to prevent the buildup of harmful oral bacteria; however, it has proven to be toxic, with long-term ingestion linked to brainheart, and bone issues. You can get fluoride free toothpaste here.

“In point of fact, fluoride causes more human cancer deaths than any other chemical. When you have power you don’t have to tell the truth. That’s a rule that’s been working in this world for generations. There are a great many people who don’t tell the truth when they are in power in administrative positions. This amounts to public murder on a grand scale, it is a public crime. . . . It is some of the most conclusive bits of scientific and biological evidence that I have come across in my 50 years in the field of cancer research.”

– Dr. Dean Burk, Biochemist, Founder of Biotin and Former Chief Chemist at the National Cancer Institute of Heal (source)

8. Soap

Whether it’s dish soap, hand soap, or body wash, conventional soaps often contain a wide array of chemicals. Antibacterial soaps regularly contain Triclosan, which is a potential carcinogen, along with many of the other ingredients often found in typical soaps. Conventional soaps also often contain parfum/fragrance.

The good news is that organic/all-natural soap is widely available! Dr. Bronner’s makes a great dish soap, as does Green Beaver, and there are tons of great body products made by all-natural brands like Andalou and Saje Natural Wellness.

9. Laundry Detergent

Laundry detergents often contain phosphorus, enzymes, ammonia, naphthalene, phenol, and sodium nitilotriacetate, all of which can cause rashes, itchiness, dryness, and sinus problems. These chemicals are easily absorbed through your skin from your clothes and bed sheets. In addition, many conventional detergents contain artificial scents and “fragrance,” which is a code name for a sweet cocktail of hazardous chemicals and potential carcinogens. My favourite all-natural detergent is doTERRA’s On Guard Laundry Detergent.

10. Baby Powder

Many baby powders are talc-based, meaning that they contain high amounts of talcum powder. According to the American Cancer Society, talc in its natural form, which contains asbestos, can cause cancer. One of the most popular baby powders used produced by Johnson and Johnson is talc-based. The company has been sued many times and has paid millions of dollars to those who claimed their baby powder caused their cancer.

A more recent case against Johnson & Johnson involved a California woman who was awarded more than $70 million in her lawsuit against the company, as she claimed their baby powder caused her ovarian cancer. Johnson & Johnson, like many other companies, has failed to disclose the dangers of using their products. Although there are many all-natural alternatives available, here’s a link to a DIY Natural recipe for baby powder.

Final Thoughts

The great part about all of this is that there are incredible, all-natural alternatives to all of these products! You don’t need to be living in fear that you’ll get cancer because there are so many things you can do to prevent it, starting with replacing these products with all-natural alternatives.

Much love!
