A Reblog: ALERT: Black people put in camps…are you ready? — Kushite Kingdom

This has been one hot summer hasn’t it? With all these police shootings of black people every other week. The racial tension is growing every day. I can feel it in the air. But I think these events may have been planned years in advance. They have staged many terrorist acts. Do a little research and […]

The Obama Legacy Part 2: Economic Policy Wall Street Could Count On

by Danny Haiphong

“Obama Administration’s economic policies were always meant to stabilize and enrich Wall Street at the expense of the working class and poor.”

The 2008 economic crisis sent Washington into a frantic search for a way to forestall popular rebellion. It found the perfect Presidential candidate in Barack Obama. With millions of Wall Street dollars at his disposal to bankroll a masterful marketing campaign, Obama was sold to the masses as the solution to eight years of Republican Party rule. Obama was advertised as the hope and change that the American people could believe in. The first Black President branded himself not as an ally of Wall Street, but as an opponent of the foreclosures, layoffs, and falling wages that had come to characterize American life under capitalist crisis.

In 2008, the Bush Administration responded to the capitalist crash with a bank bailout worth 700 billion dollars. Eight years later, it has been estimated that 4.5 trillion USD was transferred to the top 1 percent of income earners under the Obama Administration. The hope and the change that was sold to the masses amounted to nothing more than a marketing to scam. To cover up this scam, the corporate media devised a narrative that redirected blame toward “Republican obstructionism” and away from Obama. This narrative suppressed how the Obama Administration’s economic policies were always meant to stabilize and enrich Wall Street at the expense of the working class and poor.

Obama was Wall Street’s ace in the hole. While the Democratic Party cried foul play on the Republicans, the Obama Administration gave cover to Wall Street bankers. Bankers were given a get out of jail free card despite a Democratic Party majority in the House and the Senate in 2009 and 2010. Token bankers were slapped with fines for fleecing the US population with shark loans and predatory mortgages. Meanwhile, the same banks that threw millions into homelessness, joblessness, and poverty continued to receive tens of billions of dollars in “Quantitative Easing” from the Federal Reserve.

“The Obama Administration created the Simpson-Bowles commission to cut Medicare and Social Security.”

The policy of “Quantitative Easing” stopped officially in 2014, but the Obama Administration never ceased its policy of robbery of the working class. In 2011, Obama proposed a grand bargain with both parties that included 3 trillion dollars worth of cuts in domestic spending over the next decade. In 2012, the Obama Administration celebrated victory over the Republicans by creating the Simpson-Bowles commission to cut Medicare and Social Security. These benefits, historically understood as untouchable, were placed on the chopping block for the first time by the nation’s first Black President.

The bi-partisan Sampson-Bowles Commission called for another 2.5 trillion dollars worth of domestic cuts. The commission proposed a cut of 585 billion dollars to Medicare and a readjustment of how cost of living increases are calculated for Social Security benefits. All in all, the Sampson-Bowles commission was never able to fully implement these unpopular domestic proposals, partly because Republicans feared that such a move would hasten the demise of the party. In this way, as Glen Ford reported in 2012, gridlock has been one of the few bright spots of Obama’s reign.

Nonetheless, Obama has been able to get away with waging an all out war on the poor with little resistance from his supporters. In his swan song, Obama used his last State of the Union address to celebrate a farcical 5.6 percent unemployment rate. He described the American economy as the most durable in the world. This was a big lie. Not only was Obama describing a sinking capitalist economy that possessed a record low labor participation rate and a real unemployment rate closer to ten percent, but low-wage jobs have comprised the bulk of new job growth in the US under his rule.

“Obama has been able to get away with waging an all out war on the poor with little resistance from his supporters.”

The growing misery and impoverishment of the masses did not hold Obama back from attacking what little the poor has at its disposal to supplement wages. In 2014, Obama signed into law an 8.7 billion dollar cut to food stamps. The law included a new time restrictions for access to benefits for those who do not qualify for disability exemption. Those without disability status must prove they have been looking for work or have their benefits stripped after three months. Millions of people have since lost their food stamps due to the Obama Administration’s draconian reforms of this vital social service.

Obama’s record as the austerity President can be seen clearly in the condition of the working class and poor in the closing days of his rule. The wealth gap between White America and Black America is wider than it was in the 1960s. Poverty increased every year of Obama’s Presidency. One of every two individuals in the US are poor and 80 percent experience “near poverty.” Obama, rather than challenge the rule of Wall Street, has played the leading role in enriching the banks at the expense of everyone else.

Perhaps Obama’s most enduring legacy is that few protested his service to Wall Street. Occupy Wall Street made scant mention of him during its peak in 2011-2012. Labor unions were silent throughout the duration of his administration. For much of his rule, Black Americans believed their economic condition was actually improving contrary to material reality. Barack Obama was the most effective evil finance capitalism could buy. His selection into the Oval Office in 2008 and again 2012 set the movement against the crisis of capitalism back immeasurably. When his rule finally ends, expect these lost years to come rushing back to the forefront of political struggle at a rapid pace. The 2016 elections have only been a taste of what’s to come.

A Repost: The Arrogance of This Tenn. Congressional Candidate as He Explains His Racist ‘Make America White Again’ Billboard is Appalling

A Tennessee politician is facing a storm of backlash after erecting a “Make America White Again” billboard in Polk County.

Third-party congressional candidate for Tennessee’s 3rd District, Rick Tyler tells WTVC that he erected the sign to provoke thought and to get people thinking about pre-1960s America when whites were a “super-majority.”

He wants the “Leave It to Beaver,” “Ozzie and Harriet” America of old. Tyler tells reporters that the America he grew up in was “a better America where there was far less violent time, you could leave your doors unlocked, and you didn’t have carjackings or home invasions.”

A reporter presses the politician about his racism. Without hesitation, Tyler defends his beliefs saying that his preference for white people is called ethnocentrism. Even though many have aligned his beliefs with that of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s, the Tennessee politician calls Trump a “sellout” and a “marquee headliner” for the nation’s biggest reality TV show.

After complaints from local residents, the billboard was taken down last night. Here is one of those complaints:

“This disgusting bunch of bigotry was erected about 20 minutes from our house. The person listed, Mr. Rick Tyler, is a local business owner. Please, if you are the decent and loving people I know you to be, boycott this business,” Amy Hines Woody, a Delano, Tennessee resident wrote on Facebook.

Did You Know: The Jackfruit

From the Melanated Man:

I went to the farmer’s market a couple a weeks ago and noticed the fruit pictured below:

index

jackfruits1

Looks good!

That’s jackfruit for those not familiar with the fruit. At first I was skeptical about trying the fruit due to unfamiliarity and the cost at $0.89 a pound, which the average jackfruit can weigh between 10 to 100 pounds. That’s a pretty penny to spend on something you’ve never eaten before.

But I did my research and came back to the farmer’s market the couple of days ago and decided to throw in $17 to expand my horizons.

In my opinion, it was WORTH it.

The taste and even the aroma is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Very tropical flavor; to the few who are familiar with the fruit, it reminds them Juicy Fruit chewing gum!

(Rumor has it that Juicy Fruit stole its flavor from jackfruit.)

It’s like mangoes, bananas, pineapples mixed together to create this wonderful, underrated, and still relatively unknown fruit.

But it’s slowly becoming popular in the vegan/vegetarian community as a  meat-substitute for vegans (not me, though!) It’s also good for making sauces, salads, desserts, various food dishes, and especially smoothies which is delicious!  And many, many more uses.

These are just a few of the health benefits to jackfruit:

Be open-minded and try some jackfruit. If you have any stories or recipes you would like to share concerning this amazing fruit, PLEASE comment.

I’m adding this fruit to my personal repertoire. You should as well.

Peace and love to my melanated family,

Food for Thought: WATCH YOUR DEHYDRATED FOODS INTAKE!!

dehydrated-fruits

From the Melanated Man:

There’s another term to use when describing foods that are ARTIFICIAL, PROCESSED, and DENATURED.

DEHYDRATED!

DEHYDRATED FOODS HAVE NO WATER CONTENT (obviously!)

And we all know that signs of water signal there is LIFE!

Foods without WATER will steal it from your body to be broken down and digested. Thus it is stealing your LIFE just to be processed by the body.

The dehydrated potato chips, cookies, bread, meat, and even dried fruits and vegetables that we ASSUME is healthy will STEAL our LIFELINE OF WATER to be properly digested.

Even my favorite snack of all: Skinny Pop popcorn and roasted green peas.

Fresh produce DOES NOT need any more WATER than it already has within it to be digested, if eaten RAW, STEAMED, or slightly SAUTEED with its WATER CONTENT still intact. Also, the ENERGY/INFORMATION/ LIFE provided by the SUN is located within the WATER CONTENT of that fresh fruit or veggie.

Your body’s internal organs will be very appreciative of the fact you’re eating fresh produce; it won’t feel OVERWORKED and USED because they can keep most it not all of  their WATER CONTENT during the process.

AND…they are receiving something in RETURN from the ORIGINAL LIFE/LIGHT SOURCE.

It’s a GIVE and TAKE relationship, baby! Just like a INTIMATE relationship. Or any type of relationship for that matter.

Does that make sense? It makes sense to me.

You wonder why we have to drink SO MUCH WATER during the day.  If we eat alot of DEHYDRATED foods than we have to replace that LOST WATER.

But then we replace it with poisoned water that contains FLUORIDE AND LEAD AND WHAT EVER ELSE THEY ARE HIDING!!

Damn, they have this shit set up proper!

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

John 10:10

Take a guess of the type of FOOD that “comes to steal and kill and destroy.” Would you want that going through your temple?

Wake up, people!

“Yo Mama, I can sing too!”

From the Melanated Man:

I touched on this particular topic on the previous post from Monday. I can’t speak for other races, and I’ve been around MANY black-melanated people in my short existence to make this assumption:

WE ARE THE MOST MULTI-TALENTED AND SKILLED GROUP OF HUMAN BEINGS ON THE PLANET!!!

Must be the melanin, babbbbbyyyy!!! Yeah I’m bias and don’t care!

Everyone else are imitators, especially them damn Caucasoids, Europeans, or whatever you want to call them. Vampire sounds appropriate.

But anyway, no man or woman amongst our kind can outdo one another. We all have something to bring to the table. We are ALL gifted in some form or fashion:

-Athletics

-Fine arts

-The sciences and mathematics

-Holistic health

…and much more!

*From the beginning of time, through early civilizations of Ethiopia and Egypt, etc., to the building of non-melanated dominated civilizations of the Romans, Greeks, and the United States.  Every industry that exists today, we are the Alpha and Omega of ALL of them.

Do your research, if you already haven’t.

What is my point in saying all of this?

Well we have been conditioned by a system to believe that one person is more valuable than the other. One’s particular gifts and skills are more important, or better, than another’s.

It breeds competition. Competition SHOULD not exist within the black-melanated community. It does not fit our NATURAL way and conflicts with our DNA.

At the root, we are NOT a people who believes in the philosophy that one person is better than the other OR the whole.

Our philosophy since days old: Collectivism over individualism.

But we are labelled (and rightfully so considering the circumstances) with the “crab in the bucket” mentality. Our community can NEVER prosper because we don’t support each other.

And in a sense, I understand why.

It could be flat out jealousy or good ole Haterade. I think on a deeper level it could be the fact that we feel this person or certain entity is not better than anyone else in the community and we feel could do as good of a job as they are doing, considering the circumstances.

Consider myself this scenario. I can’t play a lick of basketball or have dance moves the likes of James Brown or Michael Jackson; so it does not make sense to compare apples with oranges. Now imagine if I could. What would be the difference between me and the likes of a Michael Jordan or a Michael Jackson?

Naturally, you say, there would have been some type of competition to determine who is better. But why is that the case?

Should it be that way? Has it ALWAYS been that way? I’m curious…

It could be that certain individuals are willing to SACRIFICE themselves for a lifestyle or existence they BELIEVE is better for them. Sell themselves out…

…To get in good graces with Massa.

Naturally, the conversation now leads to topics concerning the Illuminati and the sorts…

…I’m not going there. There are thousands of other resources that gladly deep down that rabbit hole. Do your research, if you already haven’t.

Everyone who is black and melanated (again I’m bias) is gifted and talented in some aspect. Not one person’s talent and skills is better than the others, whether if it’s within the same field or NOT. That is our true (currently lost) African way of community.

Our way can’t survive within an environment of capitalism and individualism. It goes against everything within our DNA, which is why we have the “crab in the bucket” situation.

The-powers-that-be may place value on certain talents and abilities than others. They have intentions not intended for the upliftment of our people, but the preservation of this parasitic, capitalistic system.

Built from our hard work since slavery times to present time. Once we realize that we are all equal (talking about black-melanated people only) concerning our talents and abilities, the system will crash and NATURAL order will be restored.

But that’s up to us.

Side note: I was IN-SPIRED to write this particular post because I have gift of singing, and there I was time I felt intimidated by others who I thought sounded better and I couldn’t match up with. AND I thought if I wasn’t big-time then I didn’t matter.

But I do.

My mind has graduated from the IGNORANCE and I believe I can sing, and it doesn’t matter if I can match up with other fellow singers or not (trust me I can!!!)

I do my best not to compare myself to others; because my voice matters regardless.

One day that will become reality, when I decide to make it a priority!

Peace and Love to my melanated family,

The Melanated Man
