Food for Thought: The Most Ancient of Things is shooting a beam straight at us!!!

From The Melanin Man:

Science is not a popular talking point among the masses unless it benefits them on a material (aka financial) level. But science, despite the deficient manner it was taught to us in school, is important and gives a better understanding of what is really going. You have to be willing to think outside of your comfort zone.

Most people (and that may be a bit generous) have a general understanding of what a black hole is. Basically, it sucks and devours anything and everything that comes near it, the point of no return (aka  the event horizon.)  Come to find out, blackholes have a tendency to “belch”, or emit blazars. According to Wikipedia, a blazar is an “active galactic nucleus with relativistic jet (a jet composed of ionized matter traveling at nearly the speed of light) directed very towards an observer.”

In layman’s terms, is it’s a beam of energy that shoots from a black hole. Ionized matter is another term for plasma, and mentioned something about plasma in the last post.  Low and behold I encountered this article on the web:

“Ancient Supermassive Black Hole Has Its Particle Beam Aimed Right at Earth”

Excerpt: Astronomers have discovered the existence of a supermassive black hole that looks to be the oldest and most distant of its kind we’ve ever encountered – and it just happens to be aiming its bright particle beam directly at Earth.

Funny how all of this is taking place during the coronavirus madness.

You think  they are observing the stars for the hell of it? Ain’t nobody traveling to no goddamn galaxy that’s 400 billion light years away. The technology will never exist for that to happen.  They’re studying the stars to keep an eye on the MELANATED CHAOS BEINGS on Earth. Point blank! We are ancient cosmic beings. Whatever happens out there, happens within us, We encompass the ENTIRE UNIVERSE! As above, so below.

Maybe the beam is an opportunity for those of us who are asleep to rise from their slumber. Who knows?

I do know one thing. I don’t believe in coincidences.

Having a Moment: The Truth about the so-called “Corona-Virus”

Image result for black mamba

Picture is not my own

From the Melanin Man:

I wasn’t paying attention to this bullshit, and that’s what it is, BULLSHIT!!! But considering that they are shutting down sports events, “crashing” the stock market, and restricting travel at a level not seen since 9/11, I have to speak on this and release it from my heart. Shout out to fellow blogger Jelari Sankofa and Youtuber RFG ChosenOne for sharing a piece of this already (check out their viewpoints as well.)

This is a one and done on this topic for me; it’s not worth talking about in the first place.

We are familiar with the fact that the “corona-virus” originated out of mainland China through the consumption of snakes. And as we should know, the snake is connected to the Kundalini energy. The ancient text concerning Kundalini energy originated in the region modernly known as India, which is right next to China.

The Latin meaning for corona is crown (i.e. the crown chakra.) Corona in physics also means “the plasma (or the illumination) that surrounds the sun and the stars.” I just re-discovered that plasma is the one of the FOUR fundamental states of matter in the universe (when I was in grade school, it was only three: solid, liquid, gas. I wonder if that’s still the case now.) Of the four classifications of matter, plasma is the most random, chaotic of them all (sound familiar.) Due to its intense internal heat property and random state, it CANNOT be contained in any fixed volumeWhat I also re-discovered is that the most destructive force in the universe, the black hole, is surrounded by the corona plasma.

Another term for the black hole is the black sun.

The black SUN is also another term for souls (SOL, SOLAR) of MELANATED, CHAOTIC BEINGS!!

The full gamut of the corona-virus madness is a ANOTHER veiled declaration of war by the archon-tects of this world against the very few illuminated chaos beings on this plane of existence and those on the road to BEING illuminated. The subconscious of the uninitiated (the comatose soul beings who are still emotionally attached to the HUMAN MATRIX) is being fucked with by this tomfoolery, keeping them in fear, keeping them in place as food for those VAMPIRES on earth as well as in the heavens.

That’s all it is. This is another attempt to keep us in the fold (The Civil Rights Movement anyone?) The difference now is that the tactics have evolved; they’re shutting down the system in many areas on a somewhat unprecedented scale. Which in a way is good; it’s a sign that they’re losing leverage.

Rest in Power, Black Mamba (Pic is not my own.)

For those of you who keep up with news, it’s funny how the NBA and China have had some conflict over the last three to four months concerning human right issues in Hong Kong. It’s also funny how Kobe Bryant, who was the Black GOD (or most popular athlete) in China, is nicknamed “The Black Mamba”. It’s even more hilarious when you realize he is killed (or sacrificed, doesn’t matter) on the eve of the corona-virus pandemic, which subsequently shuts down the NBA operations.

Side Note: Of all the sports in America, NBA athletes, which you already know the majority is at least 80% melanated, are the most self-aware of them all. That isn’t saying much, but it does matter to an extent when it comes to energy.

The stage was being set all along. The game continues. It’s “trauma, symbols, repetition” as I quote Brother Panic.

The archon-tects say the Naga (Nigga!) energy must be shut down by all means necessary. The human experiment must live on!

To hell with that! The chaos beings, the most ancient of things, declare that this shit must come to end! It’s time to rise to our true selves! We cannot be contained! We ARE the Alpha and OMEGA!

We are infinite, and THEN SOME! Let’s bring this shit down!

Food for Thought: Detaching from Black-African Romanticism

Image result for detachment

(Picture is not my own)

From the Melanin Man:

When I first came into the knowledge concerning Black history, I mean the real Black history, it was a marvelous and uplifting realization. Throughout my life, I’ve always had a sublime awareness that there was more to the people of African descent than what was presented to the public, yet until the last six or seven years I was ignorant of the many resources that were (still are!) hidden that told of the many different ways the Black-Melanated Man and Woman created and ruled the earth since time immoral. When I started reading some of the material, it didn’t feel like I was learning anything totally new. It felt like I was re-minding myself of what I had forgotten through systemic brainwashing or coming back through the birth canal for the umpteenth time (which may be where the brainwashing actually occurs.)

Although the feeling of knowing my true ancestral worth was (is!) exhilarating, deep down I knew I wasn’t going to stay there for long. I knew the desire of wanting to restore the favor of the Black collective on this planet, promoted by so many Pan-Africans and those of us who long for that to reoccur, would fade over time. One thing I’ve known about myself forever, something that I take pride in, is that I continue to learn to prevent from staying stagnant mentally. So it was only a matter of time before I would grow out of the “remembering our glorious past and returning back to our rightful place as kings and queens.”  Learning about the inner self and how to master it, Kundalini, spirits and rituals, esoteric knowledge on melanin, alchemy opened another world that has brought life full circle for me. And even with that, it will serve its purpose and I will continue to move forward and learn even more about the world around me but most importantly, me.

Which finally brings me to the point of this post…don’t get too attached to the glorious past of the Black Man/Woman.

There was a reason why our ancestors fell. And there’s NO reason why you need to concern yourself about returning back to your place on the earthly throne. This physical realm is not (and never was) our place of refuge, although we are its rightful  ruler and creators. This is a testing ground for light beings (melanated individuals that have souls) to learn and grow so they can ascend to far greater realities than what exists on this plane. At some point we got too comfortable down here and decided to keep this thing going, fearing the unknown after death (we’ve forgotten so much to the point that we forgot we’re not FROM EARTH.)  Without getting into the specifics of Gnostic teachings concerning demiurges and archons, one of the biggest tricks that is used to keep us recirculating (i.e. reincarnation) on this physical realm is BLACK ROMANTICISM, returning to our glorious past!

The time that our ancestors had in the sun is over and done with. It served its purpose as a symbol for future generations of melanated light beings to understand the REAL REASON of why they are incarnated or have reincarnated back on earth. A physical return to Black glory was never the objective. The transformation was meant to occur  within (a.k.a. spiritual alchemy; also look up chrysopoeia) each melanated light being  when it was their time to achieve such transformation.

For some, it may take only one or maybe a just few lifetimes. For others, it could thousands. It depends. Roaming the earth as your Ancient Egyptians once did should not be YOUR PURPOSE for being here.

There is no meaning to humanity outside of spiritual transformation. And what better way to do that in humbling your-self through the human experience? Where routine and repetition is HELL! And what is the three (3) most GUARANTEED repetitive things we do as a human being???

Eat. Shit. AND SLEEP!

Yeah, sex is wonderful and all that. That is until you get older and you realize how much WORK you have to put into, and your little friend doesn’t stay lubricated or erected like in those youthful years.

Take pride of where and what you came from, Black-Melanated Man/Woman. But don’t get caught up in it. It’s just a tool for the REAL CHANGE that takes place within your soul.

The Melanin Man

Food for Thought: The Money Stress

From The Melanin Man:

I’ve lived in only one country in my life, the glorious (lol!) United States of America. So I can only make the following assessment concerning society’s “rules of interaction” based off that fact alone:

“If you’re not making money, you’re spending money, and nine times out of ten, you are participating more in the latter than the former.”

I’ve been fiddling with this assessment for a couple of months, and I’m willing to say it’s a hard truth that many of us do not want to acknowledge or accept.

This is not another post about how you should be focused on balancing productive nature against your consumption.

I wanted to focus on how our this reality shapes our interactions with one another. Our time (a figment of our imagination that is used in place of the only quantity that can’t be quantified, ENERGY) has been monopolized by the almighty dollar. Everything is for sale; nothing is free or guaranteed despite what they tell you. But that’s not the sad part. What’s truly sad is that if you’re not spending money, you better be figuring out a way to be making it. You better figure out a career or some sort of side hustle to keep the cash flow coming.

Rest?

It does not exist in the good ole U.S. of A. Despite the lies they told us, that slavery ended? It never did. It just changed form. It’s called the light bill, the water bill, the cellphone bill, the internet/cable bill, student loans, et cetera, et cetera, ET CETERA! Our minds are tragically being stretched and strained, trying to figure out how to maintain our own personal version of the AMERICAN NIGHTMARE…I mean the “American Dream.”

You don’t have the opportunity to focus on the REAL you, the spiritual you, when your mind is occupied  with basic survival. You can’t focus on spiritual healing and growth when there is so much NOISE AND CHAOS in your mind geared toward just making it through the day. And NOISE AND CHAOS is what America specializes on so many levels.

Unbeknownst to the masses, divinity lies in silence.

(Hence, the rise of faux New Age meditation.)

The purpose of an authentic spiritual man/woman should not be swayed or influenced by its external environment. Their lifestyle would be geared toward realizing the purpose they were bequeath with. The truly spiritual man/woman does not necessarily shun luxury and convenience, but they do no seek it either, for they know that it keeps them bound to their humanity, which is ultimately a prison for the soul. How ironic it is that spirituality is absent from the American spirit. The aim of the American spirit is to feed the human nature of the masses, keeping them blind to the TRUTH.

America, at her core, shuns the idle and unmotivated of its collective. The cycle of  capitalism must continue to proceed, and those who do not and/or not able to participate are looked upon as dregs of society. The prevailing thought is that most dregs are either Black and brown, the bulk of that being Black. It is my belief that the Black Man/Woman in America, in spite of their ignorance on a collective scale, is the utmost spiritual being on Earth.

And you know why.

There are more in depth reasons as well, which at some point I will address.

At some point you would think that America (which is looked upon as the modern-day Rome) will take a hard look at the one group of people that basically built the country, from its infrastructure to its culture from religion to cuisine, for the solutions to the issues it has been plagued with. I’m sorry, I forgot, America is not interested in solutions.

DISTRACTION is its game.

To my Black brethren and sisters who wish to break out of the survival game, don’t let the money stress keep you from a living out your purpose on this earthly place. The cycle of spending and making money has nothing to do with your spiritual journey. Money, if you are able to have a substantial amount of it, should only be a tool to have more experiences to learn and grow from to ascend spirituality. Don’t get comfortable with money or fear that you may lose it.

Doing that is a sign that you’re not ready to move on from your human shell.

Food for Thought: “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep…”

From The Melanin Man:

When you continue to learn and  unlearn each day through your life, you begin to understand the simplest of things on many different levels. Take for instance the well-known children’s bedtime prayer “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.” The spirit (my INNER SELF) spoke to me the other morning about this prayer, and this is what it revealed to me. Enjoy!

Original Prayer

“Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray the Lord my soul to keep

If I should die before I wake

I pray the Lord my soul to take”

Bonus: “If I should live for other days

I pray Thee Lord to guide my ways”

MY INTERPRETATION

“Now I enter into the slumber of humanity

I ask that my soul is protected by the Source

If my human shell perishes before my soul awakes

I ask that my soul returns to the Source”

Bonus: “If I should live for more days

I ask the God in my thru my first (THIRD) eye to guide me.”

What do you think? Am I spot on or off just a bit??

Food For Thought: Divine Truth Lies in Pure Darkness (Melanin)

Excerpt from “The Diamond Approach” concerning Divine Darkness:

(Words and statements underlined or in bold are at my discretion.)

Becoming Increasingly Intimate with the Divine Light, the Absolute Transcendent Truth

Clearly, the nature of this process and its accompanying experience can lead us to the conclusion that the absolutely transcendent truth is unknowable. When absolute transcendence is taken to mean true nature totally apart from any manifest form, this is true. However, we see this as one possible understanding of this process. While it is true that our experience is such that we feel we know less and less as we are enveloped in the divine darkness, we are actually becoming increasingly intimate with the divine light, the absolute transcendent truth. We perceive and discriminate less, but this decrease of discrimination is not an increasing ignorance. It is the increase of a different kind of knowledge, a knowledge that is in its nature beyond discrimination, beyond the recognition of qualities and attributes. It is the simplicity of the source, which is so single that its knowing is an unknowing. As we become more enveloped in the divine darkness we are actually enveloped in divine light, for the divine light is dark. It is black light, the source of all light, not colorless but pre-color. We might think that clear light is the ultimate light, as is asserted by some Buddhist schools. However, clarity is an attribute, albeit a fundamental one. It is the absence of color, but not the ontological antecedent of color. Black light is the luminous divine darkness, the source of all light, and the origin of awareness.

The Inner Journey Home, pg. 255

Moving Away from Manifestation Toward Transcendent Truth We Lose Consciousness of Anything

This experience of no perception, internal or external, is reported by advanced practitioners of most wisdom traditions. This indicates that we cannot know true nature in its absoluteness, because as we move away from manifestation and toward the transcendent truth we lose consciousness of anything. Such a conclusion is supported by the fact that the movement deeper into pure true nature, as awareness relieves itself of the perception of manifestation, is an experience of being increasingly enveloped by darkness, a divine darkness that feels like grace. The sense of the experience is that the light of true nature darkens the consciousness of the soul, liberating her from the perception of phenomena, as it draws her nearer. The soul feels increasingly close to the source as she feels more enveloped by darkness. At the point of complete nearness, that of unity, the darkness is complete, and there is no perception or awareness of anything, including darkness.

Food For Thought: “I Don’t Have to Do Nothin’ But Stay Black and Die”

Related image

Not my creation, though I wish I did come up with it lol

From The Melanin Man:

To Stay Black and Die!

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that is the ULTIMATE destiny for every single Black-Melanated Man and Woman on the face of this earth.

Yet that’s easier said than done.

Melanin is the substance that makes up our souls and is the SUPREME SOURCE of the known and unknown universe.  According to the Good Book, there was ONLY darkness (a.k.a. melanin, dark matter, or blackness) and NOTHING ELSE prior to creation. That means the Black-Melanated Man & Woman are primordial beings that have always existed in spite of creation. This world of creation is the illusion, the dream (or nightmare depending on your current state of mind) we’ve accepted, the LIE we’ve bought into.

Knowing that let bit of information, let’s analyze the statement, “I don’t have to do nothin’ but stay Black and die!” deeper:

I Don’t Have to Do Nothin’ means the Black-Melanated Man & Woman should NOT feel obligated to prove they are WORTHY OF EXISTENCE.

You don’t have to work your ass off on a 9 to 5,  you don’t have to parade around as an activist, you don’t have to fight with your bare knuckles or even your words, and you sure as hell  shouldn’t have to invent, produce, or create anything to prove your Blackness.

From the beginning, you were Black, you are Black, and you will FOREVER BE BLACK!

Stay Black means to live by truth and accept what’s real no matter the consequences. There was nothing else but Black, melanin, truth, in the beginning, before the illusion. It’s a humongous detriment to our soul when we choose to believe in the i-LIE-sion, because we are already made up of what’s really REAL.

And Die! means to deny the shackles of humanity, the GRANDEST part of the i-LIE-sion, and embrace the divinity that radiates within you. You should not fear death whatsoever because it is your salvation. Death becomes even more meaningful when you are able to live the life you desired to live when you incarnated ( and/or reincarnated!) into this human shell.

This statement is so powerful on so many levels it’s crazy.

But the wool has been pulled over our eyes. We have been hoodwinked, BAMBOOZLED!

The greatest trick that has been pulled on the Black-Melanated Man & Woman is that we lack for something, when we’ve had EVERYTHING from the get-go. The Black-Melanated Man & Woman has mutated into a insecure being that has chosen to place his/her faith in finding the answers to his struggles in every nook & cranny of CREATION instead of  turning inward.

What a tragedy.

You must break this vicious cycle by returning to the “truth of the DARK matter” that lies within you, Black-Melanated Man & Woman, and detach yourself from human affairs.

Or in other words, YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO A DAMN THANG BUT STAY BLACK AND DIE!

K.I.S.S. Keep it simple, stupid.

Peace and Love to my melanated family,

The Melanin Man

Food For Thought: To Create or Not Create? That is the Question

From the Melanin Man:

It’s a wonderful thing, having the ability to create.

About 98% of Black folk do not even realize that they have abilities similar to the Creator, or whomever (or what?) created this holographic universe, to whom we also foolishly give reverence to. We can alter our realities in whatever manner we see fit in the blink of an eye if we wanted to, and it doesn’t require a extravagant economic plan, strict diet nor “apocalyptic” survival techniques to do so.

Mentalism (the very first of the  Hermetic Principles, “the mind is all, the universe is mental”) is the key.  Only the initiated, the very few of us, are privy and comprehend such information.

You are the master, the Creator of your own reality, Black Man & Woman. Somewhere along the line our minds were hijacked and programmed to practice servitude and obedience to entities and principalities that are below our TRUE NATURE as heirs of the earth…TITANS!

Image result for Thanos

Like Thanos, the TRUE HERO of Avengers: Infinity War, WE ARE TITANS! (Image courtesy of http://www.sideshow.com)

And yet, something is bugging me.  Lately, I have been conflicted concerning the concept of being your own Creator.  You know, everything of existence comes from the ethers, the unseen, the hidden (occult), DARK MATTER (melanin). To create, to be your own Creator, is basically bringing forth light from darkness. Anything and everything that is brought into the light of existence is left up to interpretation by the five senses of huemanity to what it might be…could be…or SHOULD be.

It is LABELED. It is CONFINED!

That, in essence, describes the soul of the Black-Melanated Man & Woman entrapped in a human shell. Which is why I say, to those of you who have become addicted to creating when it comes to improving your  HUMAN CONDITION, you are doing your SOUL a disservice.

Do you really want to get comfortable in your own prison…I mean skin?

Plus, it seems each time in history, when we did create for the sake of huemanity, we got the short end of the stick.  The others took advantage of our generosity and capitalized on our creations. Man, that shit has gotten old!

The Black-Melanated Man & Woman, absence the restraints of huemanity, has no need to create ANYTHING. Our true power is incomprehensible. In calculus terminology, we are functions with a limit of INFINITY, or rather, there is NO LIMIT TO US!   Anything you or I create on this realm should be to assist us in liberating our souls from the cycle of human mundaneness.

THAT’S IT.

I’m pretty sure the ideas for music, literature, etc., that we pull from the ethers would like to be bounded to this illusion for a better reason besides temporary feel-good and some chump change. Remember the importance of mentalism. It is pertinent that you become open-minded, fam.

Some words of advice:

Be quick to observe, slow to judge.

Learn everyday. Laugh as hard as you can. Love unconditionally. That’s my personal motto.

Also, don’t become attached to this. LET GO!

This is a test. This is NOT REAL!

That’s all folks!

Embrace Your Struggle, ‘O Great Old Ones!!

Image result for black struggle

Image is not my own.

From the Melanin Man:

I’ve come two realizations concerning being a Black Man/Woman on this planet:

Number one, STRUGGLE IS OUR BIRTHRIGHT!

That’s cruel, it’s harsh. Yet, it’s the TRUTH.

Now I’m not blind. Everybody, whether they have melanin or not, even those who are in the top 1% in society, endure hardship in some form or fashion during their imprisonment as a human being. Yet, we can all agree and this is wouldn’t be a reach to say this, but the Black Man/Woman (not just of color, but of mind, spirit, and soul) is the most hated, despised enemy on the face of the earth!

I haven’t traveled all over the world to verify this FACT, but I was born and raised in the modern-day Roman civilization, the gold -standard of modern civilization, the good-ole US of A. The American way has infiltrated in every crevice of society, in every “third-world” and “first-world” country (some bullshit smh), like a incurable plague. And Caesar has plundered the minds and talents of the authentic Black Man/Woman to his own benefit and have sanctioned any attempt to liberate the minds and hearts of Black people to be act punishable by DEATH, whether in a cage, by the bullet, or my personal favorite and maybe the most damning of them all, assimilation.

We are the enemy of the state, the weeds in the grass.

Some context: I’ve been working in my lawn recently, removing  “weeds”, mainly so we can avoid the side-eye from H.O.A (the homeowner’s association, or as I call ’em, the neighborhood police) and the neighbors, to make our lawn fit in like the rest. It takes a considerable amount of consistent effort to spray and remove “weeds”, or rather, the undesirables within the neat and petite grass collective. If you let up just a bit, the weeds will take over and outgrow the neat and petite grass. And that’s all that you will notice in your lawn, THE WEEDS!

See the correlation? See how in the most mundane of activities (freaking lawn care?!) our minds are being geared to see the world in a certain way?

Black Man/Woman, we are NOT weeds. We are NOT undesirables. We are the  INEVITABILITY of what’s real. That’s why “they” continue to put the fire to our ass and try to weed us out of the picture.

“They” know deep down they have to or it’s OVER for them.

Which, unfortunately, leads me to my second realization, probably the most depressing of the two, for the Black Man/Woman:

Number 2, WE AIN’T OVERCOMING SHIT!

Well, when it concerns anything involving this PHYSICAL BULLSHIT.

There is no amount of education, no pristine healthy lifestyle,  no economic plan (that includes NO REPARATIONS #ADOS) that will satisfy our trapped souls, to keep us interested in the lowest form of being, the human being. The Black-Melanated Man/Woman, the original ones, perfected the art of humanity eons ago.

We are the example everyone else follows. Through our ancient texts which were co-opted and appropriated from our ancestors, we have given others the tools to behave  human and civilized, as well as the opportunity to experience spiritual enlightenment…if that even exist for those who lack melanin.

Now, you couldn’t tell that from what you see out here on the media. In the eyes of world, we are the savages, the uncivilized. During some point along the way, we gave up the reigns of this realm of humanity to the Caucasoid, as he’s become the current standard bearer for how to be a human being.

And what a glorious, treacherous, murderous reign he has oversaw! Rest assured, he’s going to everything in his power, including sacrificing his own kind, to keep his reign of terror chugging along.

Yet, and I mentioned it previously, we are NOT suppose to return back to the pinnacle of humanity.

Been there, done that.

So why are we so concerned about being good & moral Christians, Muslims,  Hebrew Israelites, Democrats, Afro-centrists, WOKE & CONSCIOUS (yeah, I said it!), hard-working (smh) human Negros? I guarantee that’s not what we are here to become. To become anything outside of the ancient, CHAOTIC melanated beings we already were is ASININE, to say the least.

Am I saying we should “steal, kill, & destroy” towards our oppressors as they have done to us? No, because we’d still be acting within that treacherous human nature that we’re trying to break free. We should “turn the other cheek,” shun our humanity in ALL its splendor and glory, and return to our true spiritual selves.

To do that is to WELCOME struggle into your life.

But by “bearing that cross”, you have chosen to accept WHAT you truly are, Black Man/Woman. You decided to “break the chains” of this human prison, liberate your soul, and return back to your rightful place as GODS & GODDESSES!!!

It’s time to end this cosmic joke!

a repost: “The Black Godfather”: Clarence Avant and the Ruling Class Use of Black Pop Culture

From the Melanin Man:

I seen this on Netflix the other day, and I was conflicted about watching it. At first glance I thought it was interesting because I never heard of this guy Clarance Avant. Yet, in my heart, I knew something was off when 1) a media giant such as Netflix is promoting  a documentary about an relatively unknown Black man and 2) looking at the trailer you figures such as Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama (the two biggest shills of American supremacy & Black disenfranchisment) consigning on this dude.

As a Black Man/Woman, you have to be on guard at ALL TIMES when it comes to the “entertainment” you consume, even when it’s “Black” and/or  produced by Blacks. The harsh reality is we ain’t producing anything worthwhile with permission from the grand wizard behind the scenes.

And best believe the message you receive will be corrupted in some form or fashion!

Anywho, this article brings home the point why you can’t even trust your kin, because they’ll sell you down the river…

“The Black Godfather”: Clarence Avant and the Ruling Class Use of Black Pop Culture

Clarence Avant mastered pimping out Black identity to normalize the functioning of a nation premised on the oppression of his fellow Black citizens.

“The Black Misleadership Class clearly has a division in the entertainment industry.”

A Netflix documentary has recently premiered about a man unknown to many, who wielded inordinate influence in the music, entertainment, and film industry relative to his humble beginnings as a Black child from Climax, North Carolina. “The Black Godfather ,” as Clarence Avant is sometimes called, shows how Avant was a crucial ruling class asset in neutralizing the radical politics of the late 1960s.

According to the documentary, during a time when over 70 percent of Black entertainers were directly controlled by organized crime figures, Clarence Avant was recognized for his ability to play hardball with Black talent. Avant was able to keep Black performers in line for the benefit of the White “Goodfellas” who had a stronghold on the entertainment industry. Early in his career Avant was recruited by the famed manager of Louis Armstrong, the mob connected Joe Glaser.  Glaser recognized Clarence Avant’s potential skill as a kind of “Black Overseer” keeping the Black entertainers in check while extracting the highest value for their syndicate paymasters.

“Avant was able to  keep Black performers in line for the benefit of the White ‘Goodfellas.’”

Clarence Avant, having only a ninth grade education, unimpressive stature, and no remote level of verbal dexterity or eloquence, parlayed his early role as the “Black Overseer” of entertainers and musicians into becoming “The Black Godfather.” Avant wielded so much power in the media and entertainment industry that even White corporate executives known for showing Blacks little regard or respect surrendered to Avant’s demands, even sometimes to their own economic disadvantage.

Clarence Avant’s power and influence grew to penetrate every echelon of American entertainment media. He interfaced with almost every influential Black entertainer from 1950’s Jazz singers to late 20thcentury Hip Hop superstars. Ironically, the documentary reveals that some of his long list of admirers, from giants like Quincy Jones to politicians like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, had no idea what Clarence Avant actually did. What is obvious from the documentary is that the power of Clarence Avant did not lie in his mere persona, but stemmed from the forces that he worked on behalf of behind the scenes that held so much weight in the American culture industry.

“Even White corporate executives known for showing Blacks little regard or respect surrendered to Avant’s demands.”

What makesClarence Avant such an important person is that he was the key figure assisting in depicting Black popular culture as the embodiment of the American dream. This was done to the benefit of the American ruling class over a 50 year period when black life in America was becoming more politically and economically precarious. Though the Black Middle class has grown since Jim Crow, Black home ownership and unemployment are now at the level they were in 1968. Under the presidential management of Barack Obama, who states in the documentary that, “Clarence Avant is one of my favorite people,” 50 percent of Black wealth evaporated in the subprime mortgage crisis with no remedy from the first Black president.

Clarence Avant prides himself on having a role in the political elevation of every Democratic Party president this country has seen in the post Civil Rights era. He states in the documentary, “I believe in politics.” Early in the documentary he says, The only thing that matters to me is numbers.” Meaning money is his primary motivation.

It is amazing to watch Bill Clinton wax on about the power and importance of Clarence Avant. Avant was an early contributor to Bill Clinton’s political campaign in 1992, and raised over one million dollars for Clinton’s efforts. Clinton went on to implement one of the most draconian crime bills in American history while overseeing the incarceration of more Blacks than all three prior presidents combined. Clarence Avant’s political activism illustrates a very important fact to students of Black politics: The Black Misleadership Class clearly has a division in the entertainment industry.

“The only thing that matters to me is numbers.”

Not only does this documentary act as a hagiography of Clarence Avant, but it also functions as a kind of visual celebration of Black fealty to the Democratic party in the post Civil Rights era. Corporate Trojan Horse Black politicians like Harold Ford, Jr. and even Senator Kamala Harris sing Avant’s praises throughout the documentary.

Many are unfamiliar with how Black America transitioned from those contentious political times in the late 1960s when Black movement figures from Dr. Martin Luther King to the Black Panther Party were decrying the crimes of American capitalism and imperialism at home and abroad. Some would believe that “law and order” simply descended upon the land under President Richard Nixon. What most forget is that from1967 to 1971, 300 urban rebellions reduced sections of American cities to smoldering embers. The U.S. ruling class feared the nation was besieged by a Black revolution of such magnitude that Lyndon Johnson believed the Soviet Union was helping coordinate it.

“The U.S. ruling class feared the nation was besieged by a Black revolution.”

This fear was so palpable that Lyndon Johnson authorized a commission to study the causes of the urban rebellions. One of the things most fascinating about the 1968 Kerner Commission Report is the section on using Blacks in media and popular culture to neutralize the radical fervor that was causing Blacks to not only challenge the American status quo, but exhibit willingness to burn the whole system to the ground.

From the 1968 “Kerner Commission Report: The National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders” requested by Lyndon B. Johnson to diagnose the causes of the Urban Rebellions of that period and neutralize further occurrence of such rebellions:”

The Negro in Media

Finally the news media must publish newspapers and produce programs that recognize the existence and activities of the Negro both as a Negro and as a part of the community. It would be a contribution of inestimable importance to race relations in the United States simply to treat ordinary news about Negroes as news of other groups is now treated.

Specifically, newspapers should integrate Negroes and Negro activities in all parts of the paper, from the news, society, and club pages to the comic strips. Television should develop programming which integrates Negroes into all aspects of televised presentations. Television Is such a visible medium that some constructive steps are easy and obvious. While some of these steps are being taken, they are still largely neglected. For example, Negro reporters and performers should appear more frequently–and at prime time in news broadcasts, on weather shows, in documentaries, and in advertisements. Some effort has already been made to use Negroes in television commercials. Any initial surprise at seeing a Negro selling a sponsor’s product will eventually fade into routine acceptance, an attitude that White society must ultimately develop toward all Negroes.

In addition to news-related programming, we think that Negroes should appear more frequently in dramatic and comedy series. Moreover, networks and local stations should present plays and other programs whose subjects arerooted in the ghetto and its problems.

In the context of the section above, one understands how after the 300 urban rebellions between 1967 and 1971 programs ranging from “Soul Train” to “Good Times” become important showcased spectacles of Black life and popular culture. Hence, the significance of a Clarence Avant, who mastered pimping out Black identity to normalize the functioning of a nation premised on the oppression of his fellow Black citizens.

Furthermore, the proliferation and hyper-capitalization of Black popular cultural production in the post Civil Rights era also must be thoroughly scrutinized in this context. With the expansion of Black images from streaming services to sports figures, the seduction of Black popular culture and its value as a vehicle of pacification and social control in periods of political contention becomes more obvious.

With the rise of White reactionary nationalism all over the globe and retreats on the gains of the Civil Rights Era from voter suppression to Black wealth evisceration, isn’t it time that people view figures like Clarence Avant and the overall Black media and entertainment establishment with not only suspicion, but as accessories to the crime of American racial hostility?

“The seduction of Black popular culture as a vehicle of pacification and social control becomes more obvious.”

Is it accidental that Citibank’s favorite president Barack Obama and his wife have now ventured into the culture industry to produce programming for Netflix ? Are people foolish enough to believe this is all just “entertainment,” for fun and enjoyment with no political or social agenda? When considering where this obsession with popular culture has taken the most disadvantaged among Americans, it is clear that the Kerner Commission’s formula for political pacification was rather effective. The Clarence Avant’s of the world can continue to laugh their way to the bank.

Clarence Avant starts his career as tool of organized crime, yet is able to rise to such a level in the American capitalist system that he becomes an emissary of the Democratic Party, working to ensure its political success by leveraging Black entertainment. Avant becomes a kind of “fixer,” acting as an intermediary between Black entertainers and the capitalist culture industry, as well as the American political system. Concurrently, Avant secures the expansion of the Black capitalist class in the entertainment industry while the hard realities of Black life are masked behind the bright lights and sweet music.

Therefore, the most important lesson from the documentary, “The Black Godfather,” is that agents of Black subjugation don’t have to be as vulgar and crass as a Bull Conner or Donald Trump. Sometimes those agents can be heralded as models of Black success while fulfilling their roles as the comprador elite helping suck the life out of innocent poor and working class Black folk. In Clarence Avant’s case at least it was done to a backbeat you could dance too. Aren’t we happy such a man provides a role model to emulate?
