(ThyBlackMan.com) There is a popular axiom that states, ‘A fool and his money shall soon part.’ There is quite possibly no more succinct means of describing the current economic state of Black America. Put simply, we have been foolish, if not completely reckless in regards to our collective economic dealings. Things are in such a state of disarray that a reasonable person would question if the term Black unity is an oxymoron.

The issue of economic collectivism among African-Americans is a topic bantered in venues varying from Black Nationalist gatherings to Black barbershops/beauty salons. All seem to agree that in regards to collectivist economics, the Black Community has been in a downward spiral since our educated class decided that their path to survival was via assimilating with an economically unified white community that has historically displayed via every means possible that they had no desire for any relationship, outside of an economically exploitative one, with Black America.

One is left pondering how Black political leaders, business people, intellectuals, educators, clergymen, the population that William Edward Burghardt Du Bois characterized as the Talented-Tenth allow this to occur? Was the elite too preoccupied with accumulating material possessions to comprehend the mounds of evidence that made the words assimilation synonymous with economic servitude?

Were they focused upon giving their offspring everything they never had and in the process failed to provide them either the crucial elements that facilitated their success or the understanding that the descendants of enslaved people are eternally inextricably linked with each other? It appears that African-American leaders are the only racial/ethnic leadership group that has failed to deliver the point that collectivist economics is crucial to group survival. Failure to understand this reality places African-Americans in the peculiar predicament that the great Harlem Renaissance poet Langston Hughes expounded upon in his poem,

I, Too
I, Too
I, too, sing America.
I am the darker brother. They send me to eat in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh,
And eat well,
And grow strong.
Tomorrow,
I’ll be at the table
When company comes.
Nobody’ll dare
Say to me,
“Eat in the kitchen,”
Then.
Besides,
They’ll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed –
I, too, am America.

(Langston Hughes)

One of the most amazing occurrences in today’s highly contemptuous battle for survival in a rapidly diversifying nation has been African-Americans inability to understand that economic survival, let alone prosperity or winning, hinges upon collectivism and group cooperation; and until those lessons are learned we will continue to dine in the kitchen that Hughes writes about, eagerly waiting for a kind invitation to dine at the table of America. That invite has never, and will never, come out of kindness. Put simply, life is analogous to a board game where players, meaning various races and identities, attempt to increase their holdings [political and economic power] through strategic maneuverings, the ability to coordinate with other players, who are invariably receiving some benefit from the coordination, increases one’s opportunity for success.

Considering this analogy, it appears as if other groups — Alternative Lifestyle [Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, Transgender, Queer], Women [Wealthy, Middle-Class, Working-Class, Asian, Latina, White, Black], Asian [Chinese, Japanese, Filipino] Latina [Mexican, Puerto Rican, Brazilian, Cuban, Dominican] White [Irish, Anglo-Saxon, Russian, Italian, Polish, German] — are able to make decisive logical moves on this crowd game board and forge alliances to advance their interests.

Now, it is not that persons of African descent [Nigerian, Jamaican, African-American, Ghanaian, Black Brits, Haitian, Cuban, Brazilian, Caribbean] are not involved in the game, it is that they are the least likely to forge an alliance with other groups, including their own racial group. Predictably, their attempt to navigate the game of life solo leads to not only frustration but also the total loss of their political power and total dependence upon others for material survival; they become in a word, parasitic.

In time, this population will make what they consider a logical move to get in the game, a decision that drives home just how uninformed they are in regards to how this game is played, they will shun others in their racial/ethnic group and attempt to join with another group, thinking that such is an appropriate strategy to extricate themselves out of an increasingly deep hole. Little do they realize, they have made what is akin to a Faustian deal that guarantees them nothing more than a few politico-economic crumbs that the larger players will offer them once their appetite is satisfied!

In their defense, I must add that the primary reason they never turn within their own group to forge coalitions is that they have been taught in classrooms, media, and through experience that, “Niggers don’t know how to handle no business.” The vast majority of movers and shakers within the Race will relate such feelings as they bask in their self-created position as the only Negro who is about making moves; we all know that this fool, thinking that they can take on the world alone, what they invariably discover is that they are simply busy with their myriad pyramid schemes and quick rich scams that are actually enriching other groups.

The reasons for considering African-Americans economically parasitic are obvious, however, a pressing query remains; that being, why does it seem that only persons of African descent remain steeped in these dire straits. And more importantly, what is the solution to reversing this unfortunate reality?

The path for group empowerment is always the same; groups close ranks for a period, mobilize their economic resources, and focus their energies upon hard work and educating their men, women, and children with an eye toward political power, economic self-sufficiency, and a liberating theology.

Despite the reality that such uplift programs occur within the public sphere, many African-Americans are naïve enough to believe in an ethos of individuality. Their logic is that if they work diligently as an individual they will succeed; nothing could be further from the truth. I had a professor who once highlight the fallacy of such thought when he remarked, ‘If hard work were all that you needed to succeed in America, Black folk would run this nation because no one has worked harder than us’; hard work and diligent effort, although a part of the equation, is in no way the entire equation. I must admit that I am amused when Conservative groups such as the Tea Party stand in the midst of their collective group and advise others to seek political power and economic freedom individually, please do not be seduced by the lie of either American individualism or laissez-faire, let alone trickle-down economic schemes that other groups endorse. They are actually collectively mobilizing their political resources to enjoy the fruits of their labor individually.

Considering the current position of African-Americans, it is foolish for us not to focus our energies on studying, mobilizing, and then executing a plan to help uplift the race. Failure to do so will most certainly result in a continuation of the dire consequences currently affecting the community.

Please remember that life is like a game, with multiple players with the same goal, securing as much political power and money to not only operate today but also to flex their muscles when need be and force others to do what is not necessarily in their best interests. It will not be until we understand that other groups are not only organized and executing plans that not only accentuate their strengths but also exploit our collective weaknesses that we will even begin to be prepared for this game. The question is, how long will we allow the game to operate before we begin mobilizing our game pieces and develop a plan to decisively enter the game in a way that matters?

So the question remains, are African-Americans prepared to not only understand the game but also participate in it at its highest levels? Or will they continue to serve as little more than relatively insignificant pawns in a chess game? It is only through issuing a significant challenge to the prevailing economic power structure that African-Americans have any chance of surviving, let alone flourishing, economically. And there is no doubt that it is impossible to even issue a challenge until we are able to unite, close ranks, strategize collectively, develop and then execute a logical plan aimed at uplifting the race. Failure to do so will eventually lead us to be wiped completely off of the board of this game called life and signal our collective failure at issuing any challenge to the prevailing economic tyranny that we have experienced since integration occurred.

a repost: Thank CNN for the Slave Auctions in Libya

Article originally posted on Black Agenda Report (click link for original)

Thank CNN for the Slave Auctions in LibyaThank CNN for the Slave Auctions in Libya

Zero context is given as to why the slave auctions exist in the first place.”

On November 14th, CNN produced an “exclusive” report about the slave trafficking of migrants in Libya. The report detailed the devastating conditions of migrants fleeing from crisis in nations across North and East Africa. Smugglers, as CNN calls them, capture and terrorize migrants before selling them into day labor. Libyan authorities then detain the migrant laborers and repatriate them back to their nation of origin. CNN emphasizes the horror of the slave auctions with the caption “I was sold” underneath a picture of one of the migrants, Victory, whose story is told in the report.

CNN’s coverage of the matter is typical of the corporate media. Zero context is given as to why the slave auctions exist in the first place. It is as if the horrors in Libya had just been discovered because of CNN’s investigative journalism. The underlying assumption of the report is that slave markets are a fetter of the past completely foreign to the enlightened audiences in the US and Western countries. Yet we have CNN to thank for the emergence of slave relations in Libya.

It was CNN that took part in the most slanderous of lies in cooperation with the US-NATO war on Libya in 2011. Libya was bombed for over seven months while CNN provided media cover all along the way. CNN produced opinion pieces explaining why the invasion of Libya was a just war . Reports from CNN described Libya as a nation ruled over by crazed dictator Muammar Gaddafi who suddenly found the appetite to murder “his own people.” The so-called “impartial” media monopoly spread absurd lies about Libya on behalf of the Pentagon and NATO, including the twisted rumor that Gaddafi supplied his troops with Viagra to rape women and children.

We have CNN to thank for the emergence of slave relations in Libya.”

Of course, nothing that CNN and its corporate media partners reported about Libya ended up being true . US-NATO countries had in fact been supplying foreign proxies with the necessary military and logistical equipment to foment a crisis in Libya in 2011. Many of these groups, including the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) were affiliated with Al Qaeda. Libya’s “rebel” militias described as revolutionaries by the likes of CNN have long since been found to have committed heinous crimes against humanity in their quest to overthrow the Libyan government. Email leaks of Hillary Clinton’s correspondence with a trusted advisor revealed that the former Secretary of State had full awareness of the crimes the rebels were committing against the Libyan people.

She, and the rest of Washington, supported them anyway. Washington and NATO’s band of terrorists would take power in October of 2011 after the ruthless and illegal assassination of Muammar Gaddafi. The Libyan state was destroyed. With the destruction of the state also came the eradication of the conditions that protected Black Libyans and other migrants. And rival militia groups have continued to sow chaos in a country that was once the most stable on the African continent.

Yet it took six years for CNN to report on the slave auctions in Libya. Libya, like the rest of Africa, is not worth media coverage unless it is mired in chaos. CNN was nowhere to be found when Libya was developing the most prosperous nation in Africa between 1969-2011. There were no CNN reports detailing Libya’s free health coverage, universal subsidized housing, or equal rights for women codified in the constitution. CNN’s corporate executives thought little of Libya when the nation announced plans for a continental military and currency just prior to NATO’s mission to destroy the African country.

“The so-called ‘impartial’ media monopoly spread absurd lies about Libya on behalf of the Pentagon and NATO, including the twisted rumor that Gaddafi supplied his troops with Viagra to rape women and children.”

The same can be said about all developments on the African continent. Corporate media outlets wasted no time portraying Zimbabwe’s recent unrest as a coup even though the same ruling party remains in power after Robert Mugabe’s formal resignation. Zimbabwe has made headlines nearly every day now that their leader, who is despised by the imperialists, has stepped down in response to internal conflict. Zimbabwe’s achievements in education, healthcare, and land reform are not merely afterthoughts to the corporate press. They are a problem. Hundreds of thousands of formerly unemployed and peasant Black farmers have resettled on formerly white-owned land since the early 21st century. Zimbabwe is one of the most educated countries on the African continent and sports a declining a HIV rate as well.

An African nation that isn’t compliant with imperialist-imposed underdevelopment reaches the airwaves only when in duress. The corporate media has little interest in delving into Africa’s positive achievements. Corporate outlets such as CNN are nothing but mouthpieces of the US imperial state which requires endless war to maintain legitimacy. To CNN, Libya’s descent into slave relations is an embarrassment to the civilizing mission it helped carry out alongside the US-NATO alliance. Libya’s abject condition is the starkest example of the loss of control evident in every aspect of imperialism. War is a prerequisite to imperialism’s continued dominance, yet in the present-day war only results in chaos and ruin.

Corporate outlets such as CNN are nothing but mouthpieces of the US imperial state.”

For many in the military apparatus, chaos and ruin are the goals. Libya’s demise set into motion a regional wide crisis that has served as a self-fulfilling justification for military intervention on the continent. AFRICOM’s expansion reached a climax with the destruction of Libya. The former Arab socialist republic was one of three nations that refused US military assistance. Arms that were placed into the hands of Al Qaeda affiliated “rebels” in Libya traveled to terrorist groups on both coasts of Northern Africa directly following the demise of Gaddafi. In 2015, it was reported that the US had conducted 674 military operations continent wide, which included a steep increase in drone warfare.

CNN doesn’t report the casualties of drone warfare in Africa. It doesn’t report on AFRICOM or its attendant military operations, either. CNN is the mouthpiece of regime change. Its parent company Turner Broadcasting is interested in nothing more than a larger profit share for its investors (capitalists). As the media in the US has monopolized into private hands, journalism has become less reflective of public opinion and more of a weapon against the consciousness of the people. Corporate media coverage of US involvement in world affairs is nothing more than a press release for the Pentagon. Many media corporations regularly clear with the Pentagon prior to airing information about US military operations.

Arms that were placed into the hands of Al Qaeda affiliated “rebels” in Libya traveled to terrorist on both coasts of Northern Africa directly following the demise of Gaddafi.”

That is why the CNN report of Libya’s slave market in no way traces the development back to US designs to destroy the independent African nation back in 2011. This type of criminal negligence is pervasive in the corporate media across all topics that relate directly to the poor and oppressed. Few corporate outlets have covered with any urgency the new report that just three billionaires own more wealth than the bottom half of the US population . In fact, the corporate media and their partners in Washington actively wage war on the truth. Russia media outlet RT has been repeatedly attacked by US intelligence for allegedly sowing division in the US through its coverage of fracking and police brutality in the US.

Trust in the corporate media is thus at a low point in the US. The corporate media is now seen as illegitimate by the majority of the population. That’s because the corporate media’s image as a “legitimate” source of information has been damaged by a long record of blatant lies and half-truths. Corporate media such as CNN are the vehicles of misinformation that the ruling class desperately needs to reproduce the rule of imperialism. At no other time has this been more apparent. So even as CNN reports on Libya’s slave auctions, we can thank the corporate media for producing the deplorable conditions that exist in that country and much of the planet in the first place.

Food for Thought: Please Do a Double Take on the Zimbabwe situation

From the Melanin Man:

I’ve had a funny feeling about this situation in Zimbabwe. Anytime anything involving Africa or the African Diaspora catches the interest of the mainstream media, something is amiss.

From what I’ve read and gathered about former Zimbabwean President Mugabe, I believed he truly cared for the welfare of his country and people. He may not have been the  the-always-righteous-at-every-waking-moment leader people deservedly, and undeservedly, demand for, but I think that belief is valid. To stomp for self-sufficiency for your nation and actually put it to action i.e. the  land reform act in the 1980s where Mugabe through Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) sanctioned the exchange of land from white Zimbabweans (Zimbabwe was once Rhodesian, a former English colony) to Blacks.

That was bold. You know big brother (The United SNAKES of America and the European Union) were not going to have that.

Remember…NO AFRICAN SOVEREIGNTY ALLOWED ON THIS PLANET WHATSOEVER!!

When the U.S. and Europe decided to place sanctions on Zimbabwe in the early 2000s, that was the sign that Zimbabwe was an “enemy” to the status quo. When you’re not kissing the ass of the big dog, eventually you get bit. For those of us who seek to break away from our masters and the-powers-that-be, to be labeled enemy of the state should be viewed as an honor. Don’t be ashamed of that. Like I’ve mentioned plenty times before…

DO NOT TRUST THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA FOR ANYTHING!!!

You might as well watch “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” or “Love & Hip-Hop” (doesn’t matter which version, they’re all TRASH!!!) If you gonna be brainwashed, at least watch something a little more entertaining, and more ratchet (don’t lie, you like to see ratchetness from time to time) At least get your money’s worth.

Don’t believe the hype on the Zimbabwe foolishness! You don’t realize we’re being played.

Clearing the Smoke and Mirrors Around ZimbabweClearing the Smoke and Mirrors Around Zimbabwe

“The West, led by Britain and the U.S., have been engaged in a regime policy against the Southern African nation for the last 18 years.”

Reasons for examining what is happening in Zimbabwe are many but few to none can be found in accounts by major news media or from liberal progressive pundits. Such accounts are busy reinforcing the over simplified and misinforming narrative that forcing out former 93 year-old president Robert Mugabe marks the end of 37 years of brutal dictatorship that has driven the country into economic disaster.

The over simplified version being fed to the general public is that everything kicked off after Mugabe fired a disagreeable vice-President. Zimbabwe is to be seen as just another African country with a long reigning dictator who presides over the repression and impoverishment of his own people who really are unable to govern themselves without the aid of the benevolent West.

Since the November 14th reports that Zimbabwean army tanks were seen heading towards the capital Harare in the middle of rising tensions between President Robert Mugabe’s ZANU PF and the military, led by one of Zimbabwe’s Vice-Presidents, Emmerson Mnangagwa, the ultimate political outcome is still unfolding. In short, the story has seen Mugabe first put under house arrest by the military, many of his high level supporters arrested, and eventually, after initially appearing to refuse, Mugabe was pressured into resigning to be replaced by Mnangagwa who was sworn into office last Friday.

“Greg Elich also challenges the portrayal that ‘All Zimbabweans… are happy at the turn of events.”

Unsurprisingly, these new political developments reawakened the Western news media’s fixation with Zimbabwe because the West, led by Britain and the U.S., have been engaged in a regime policy against the Southern African nation for the last 18 years. The accompanying media campaign makes it necessary to look for an honest examination of “What’s Behind the Military Coup in Zimbabwe ” — as in the recent CounterPunch.org article by Greg Elich. Using an assortment of sources that include a September Reuters report claiming to have obtained hundreds of internal documents from Zimbabwe’s Central Intelligence Organization, Elich dispels distracting narratives like the claim that the coup was to prevent maneuvers by Robert Mugabe’s wife Grace from becoming his successor. Elich also challenges the portrayal that “All Zimbabweans… are happy at the turn of events,” explaining why photos and footage mainly showing demonstrations in the capital Harare “aren’t necessarily reliable. Opposition backers predominate in the cities, whereas Mugabe’s support is heavily concentrated in rural areas, where it can have little political effect.”

The rural areas are also where Zimbabweans have most benefited from the fast track land redistribution policy initiated in 2000.

Liberal progressives like activist Bill Fletcher , who also hosts and produces the Washington DC based radio show ARISE, gives progressive cover to old and misinformation and falsehoods about Zimbabwe. In these portrayals it is acknowledged that Mugabe and many of the ZANU-PF leadership are not your typical “African dictator” variety and instead arose from the liberation struggle. But on the November 24th show of ARISE Fletcher buttressed old and refuted lines straight from imperialism’s talking points.

Among these points are the claims that ZANU-PF’s 2000 fast track land reclamation was a failure and only benefited cronies of the party and President Mugabe; that the political and economic mission of the opposition party Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) is unclear; and that the dire economic conditions of the country are due solely to the corruption, irresponsibility, and mismanagement of Mugabe.

“Bill Fletcher buttressed old and refuted lines straight from imperialism’s talking points.”

It would have been difficult for the show to feature any other angle, given that one of the guests was Scott Taylor, professor at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, whose credentials include serving as a consultant for USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development), the African Development Bank, and the World Bank.

Flecther’s other guest was Nii Akuetteh, founding Executive Director of the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA), an arm of George Soros’ “network of foundations.”

Much of the misinforming propaganda being resurrected by Western media and reinforced by liberal progressives has been refuted in the 2010 major study, Zimbabwe’s Land Reform: Myths and Realities , by Institute of Development Studies Fellow Ian Scoones, with Zimbabwean colleagues Nelson Marongwe, Blasio Mavedzenge, Felix Murimbarimba, Jacob Mahenehene and Chrispen Sukume. The book challenges five myths through a detailed examination of field data:

Myth 1 – Land reform has been a total failure

Myth 2 – The beneficiaries have been largely political ‘cronies’

Myth 3 – There is no investment in the new resettlements

Myth 4 – Agriculture is in complete ruins creating chronic food insecurity

Myth 5 – The rural economy has collapsed

The book uses evidence to argue that the land reform program may well be the foundation needed for broad based economic efficiency and new livelihoods in the fight against poverty.

The study finds that while production crops for export declined, other crops “such as small grains, edible beans and cotton” for domestic use increased or remained steady. “A core group of ‘middle farmers’ — around half of the population in the Masvingo study areas — are generating surpluses from farming.”

There is substantial agricultural production on small farm holders, with the majority producing enough to feed their families and sell to local markets in good rainfall years.

“Significant investment in the new land has included plot clearings, well digging and home building. In addition, schools have been built, roads cut and dams dug. New market connections are being forged, unleashing a dynamic entrepreneurship in the rural areas.”

“A core group of ‘middle farmers’ — around half of the population in the Masvingo study areas — are generating surpluses from farming.”

We can be sure that the major factor impacting the Zimbabwean economy was not the shopping habits of First Lady Grace Mugabe. This is not to say there was no mismanagement of the economy on the part what is a parliamentary government. The major factor responsible for the spiraling inflation is, however never mentioned by the major media. That would be the pervasive EU and US sanctions against Zimbabwe — a type of warfare without guns and bombs. The hypocritically entitled “Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act of 2001,” a.k.a. ZIDERA, is the U.S. sanctions legislation that explicitly designed to damage the economy by denying any extension of credit and loans to the government or any balance of payment assistance by international financial institutions. They also actively dissuade investments in, or trade with the country. This has had devastating effects on the ordinary citizens of Zimbabwe in multitude of ways, a fact that Western media and liberal progressive pundits never fail to ignore.

The symptoms of these sanctions are pinned on “Mugabe’s economic mismanagement.” Rarely does anyone ask scrutinizing questions like those of Ugandan journalist, Timothy Kalyegira: “Before the Mugabe Government started uprooting the white farmers in 2000, his Government kept inflation at 5 percent, 8 percent (or 11 percent in difficult years.) How, then, does a country with all the same factors and leaders from 1980 to 2000 suddenly (because the white commercial farmers have been uprooted) see inflation soar to world record levels in a space of just six years starting in 2000? And how is it that a stable Zimbabwe has an inflation rate 1500 times higher than Somalia, a country without a government since 1991?”

“The major factor responsible for the spiraling inflation is the pervasive EU and US sanctions against Zimbabwe — a type of warfare without guns and bombs.”

The Western press is notorious for largely ignoring Africa. So we should ask why Zimbabwe so easily makes breaking news and headlines when the repression and rape of countries ruled by U.S.-allied leaders like Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo goes virtually unnoticed.

The renewed attention is because imperialism’s protracted strategy is apparently bearing fruit. Unable for a host of internal reasons to raise its hegemony through the opposition party MDC, which they literally created and poised to usher in a neo-liberal agenda, current developments seem to bare out the assertion of former U.S. Ambassador to Zimbabwe Christopher Dell who in 2007 wrote in a leaked Wikileaks cable , “Our policy is working and it’s helping drive changes here. What is required is simply the grit, determination and focus to see this through. Then, when the changes finally come we must be ready to move quickly to help consolidate the new dispensation…”

We now seem to be witnessing a “say it ain’t so” moment. Since the resigning of Mugabe and the instatement of Mnangagwa as Zimbabwe’s President, a number of foreign officials have paid “courtesy calls” to the new president, including Britain’s Africa Minister Rory Stewart, who pledged that Britain is ready to strengthen its relations with Zimbabwe and, “On sanctions, I have to be clear, there are now very few sanctions on Zimbabwe. Sanctions are left on a few individuals. The only outstanding question here is of international financial assistance from organizations like the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, but we have already begun discussions to have the embargo lifted.”

Imperialism would hardly make such a commitment unless they were certain their economic interests were secured.

“We should ask why Zimbabwe so easily makes breaking news when the repression and rape of countries ruled by U.S.-allied leaders like Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo goes virtually unnoticed.”

Amid rumors that that land would be returned to large-scale white farmers, Emmerson Mnangagwa declared to the contrary that “the land reform program was unavoidable and shall not be reversed.” But he promised that those white farmers who lost property would receive compensation.

At the moment it looks as if one of only two of Africa’s remaining hold outs from imperialism’s world domination has succumbed to pressure. But there is much more to unpack and the people’s struggle is a story that never ends.

The lessons for the international struggle for self-determination, justice and against capitalist imperialism are always more complicated than we can get from the most readily available sources.

The people of Zimbabwe and the whole of Africa must find a way to forge an expressly anti-capitalist mass movement toward processes of participatory democracy where the people can devise and implement their own social programs that benefit the most disenfranchised classes. Much like the movements that emerged in Latin America and were attempted in Burkina Faso under Thomas Sankara. It would seem this is best safeguard against the aggressions of imperialism. We must concede that the land reform and “indigenization acts” were inadequate measures toward economic empowerment that kept capitalism and imperialism intact. We hope we’re wrong, but the neo-liberalism that now appears to be on the horizon has always in the long run ended in deeper and more sustained misery for the working class and rural poor populations of Africa and the world.

a repost: ED vs. EL-Breathariansim: Science Examines People Who Claim Not To Eat & Here’s What They Found

Refer to ED vs EL: The Five Different Eating Diets Discovered by our Melanated Ancestors

Article posted on  Collective-Evolution (click link for original)

By Arjun Walia March 28, 2016

Breathariansim refers to the practice of sustaining oneself without food. This concept is not new; in fact, for thousands of years, various cultures around the world have written of this ability. In the third book of the Yoga Sutras, for example, approximately 25 Siddhis are listed as having extraordinary abilities. This is a common theme throughout Buddhism, and various other spiritual traditions as well. Clairvoyance and psychokinesis are just some of the special traits attributed to the Siddhis, as is the liberation from hunger and thirst.

Though modern day science has seen evidence of extended human capacities like telepathy, remote viewing, and pre-cognition, very little work has gone into examining breatharianism. Some brilliant minds do believe it’s possible, however, including Nikola Tesla. In 1901, he made the following argument:

My idea is that the development of life must lead to forms of existence that will be possible without nourishment and which will not be shackled by consequent limitations.  Why should a living being not be able to obtain all the energy it needs for the performance of its life functions from the environment, instead of through consumption of food, and transforming, by a complicated process, the energy of chemical combinations into life-sustaining energy?

Liberation from food and hunger does indeed sound unrealistic and, from what we know of modern day biology, impossible. But the history of science has shown us many times that the impossible can become the possible in an instant. A great example of this is the recent discovery that humans can actually influence their autonomic nervous system using the power of the mind.

Let’s take a look at what happened when people who claimed that they don’t eat were examined by science.

Breatharianism

The Qigong practice of Bigu, and other -Qigong practices (which include the liberation from food) examined by science have yielded some extraordinary results. A study published in the American Journal of Chinese Medicine, as seen in the the US National Library of Medicine, demonstrated that a woman with special abilities was and is able to accelerate the germination of specific seeds for the purposes of developing a more robust seed stock. This is one example of many; you can find the study and read more about it here.

The Catholic Charism of India also involves the claim of living well without eating food. Dean Radin, Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, explains the concept in his book Supernormal: Science, Yoga, and the Evidence for Extraordinary Psychic Abilities:

The implication is that the human body can transmute ambient energy into nutrients, and through the practice of cultivating this ability one can live comfortably for as long as one wishes without food, and possibly without drinking water. This is described as a siddhi in the Yoga Sutras as Pada 111.30: liberation from hunger and thirst.

This flies in the face of a substantial body of medical knowledge, which has established that the human body can last about five days without water, and a few weeks at most without food. Beyond that, you’re dead. As a result, despite a host of historical examples of people lasting for years without eating, and sometimes without drinking, most nutritionists and biochemists regard such claims to be ridiculously impossible, and the people who make the claims—currently dozens to hundreds worldwide—to be seriously delusional. Some of those claimants may well be delusional. But all of them?

Prahlad Jani

Prahlad Jani is a local of Ahmedabad, India, who claims that at the age of 11, the Hindu goddess Amba appeared to him and told him that he would no longer have to eat food. He has apparently lived in a cave since the 1970s, and claims not to have eaten anything for most of his 81 years (as of 2012).

Jani was tested in 2003 and in 2010 at Ahmedabad’s Sterling Hospital by Dr. Sudhir Shah and his team of doctors. Dr. Shah is a consultant neurologist who has been practicing for 20 years, as well as a professor and Department Head of Neurology at KM School of PG Medicine and Research.

During the first test, which took place in 2003, Jani was monitored 24/7 by hospital staff and video cameras, where it was confirmed that he neither ate nor drank. He also did not show any physiological changes — a fact which, according to modern day medicine, should be impossible. This test took place over a period of 10 days. Although it might not seem like a significant amount of time, to go 10 days without food and water and not experience any physiological changes is actually quite astounding.

He was tested again at Sterling Hospital in 2010 from April 22 to May 6, observed by 35 researchers from the Indian Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences, among other organizations. This time, Jani did not eat or drink for two weeks. As with the previous test, he exhibited no ill effects from this abstention.

This truly is unbelievable, and goes against everything we know about both human physiology and the nutritional requirements of the body.

As one might expect, neither these tests nor their results were published in medical journals.  The studies have also generated a lot of criticism. The main arguments against these tests were, however, quite weak in my opinion. One argument holds that Jani escaped the scrutiny of the hospital staff and video cameras with the assistance of his disciples, and that he did in fact eat/drink something. Yet hospital staff maintains this is impossible because he was monitored around the clock, as per the requirements of the study.

Even with these criticisms, the evidence is solid and appears to correspond with a known Siddhi.

A statement from a scientific group (which included the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences) given to ABC News back in 2012 reads as follows:

We realized that, if this whole phenomenon really exists in a human being even for 15 days, it would have immense application in unraveling secrets of medical science and its application for human welfare.

Instead of ignoring this case, we selected to investigate further, in a rational and scientific way. We again make it clear that the purpose of this study was not to prove or disprove a person, but to explore a possibility in science and study a new phenomenon.

Michael Werner

Another case comes from a doctor of chemistry named Michael Werner, who is the managing director of a pharmaceutical research institute in Switzerland. This man claims to not have eaten any solid food since January 1, 2001. He was studied in a 10-day observational test in October 2004 by the intensive care unit at a hospital in Switzerland, and as with Jani, displayed no significant or dangerous physiological changes. These results have yet to be published, however.

Dean Radin offers an insightful explanation for why these results might never be published, and for why so little attention has been given to this phenomenon:

Perhaps the most curious aspect of the breatharian tests is the in-your-face nature of the claimed phenomenon and yet an almost complete lack of interest from the scientific community. If it is possible to live well without eating food, this ought to be easy to demonstrate, and if it held up, the scientific and social consequences would be astounding.

The fact is, as with many other observed phenomena that science can’t explain, most researchers regard things like this as ridiculous and extremely unlikely, and therefore don’t even take the time to look into them. They dismiss the claims out of hand rather than approaching them with scientific neutrality and curiosity.

Another reason for this silence could be simple fear; researchers rely on funding from various parties, and they know it will be denied them if the topic seems too ‘out there.’ They also know what kind of criticism they would face from the mainstream scientific community should they go ahead and publish a study on something so esoteric.

Werner learned of breathariansim from an Australian spiritual teacher named Jasmuheen, who teaches how to transition from eating to not eating. And Jasmuheen has also been the subject of a study, but she began showing signs of stress, high blood pressure, and dehydration after just 48 hours.  As most of you reading this know, this is not something you can just go and try without any preparation. It can be very dangerous, and there have been multiple reports of deaths occurring as a result of people engaging in this practice. Clearly, there is much more involved than simply refraining from eating or drinking.

The Science of Fasting

Science is now showing just how beneficial food deprivation can be. Mark Mattson, the current Chief of the Laboratory of Neuroscience at the National Institute on Aging and a Professor of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University, gave a great TED talk on fasting in 2014. This practice has been shown to generate new stem cells, repair DNA, fight cancer, fight both Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, and more.

It’s also interesting to note that all caloric restriction models in animal studies have shown significant health benefits and improvements, including a longer life span.

To learn more about the science of fasting, you can read a more detailed article and watch a TED talk by Dr. Mattson here.

a repost: How You Were Tricked to Live in the Land of the Legally Dead?

Article originally posted on Waking Times

Pao L. Chang-September 16, 2017

The current reality of man is heavily controlled by words. As a result of that, words play a big role in shaping the reality and culture of man. Besides shaping the reality and culture of man, words also play an important role in trade. Some of the most important words used in the business of trading goods and services are related to the name. Your name plays a very important role in your life because it allows others to identify you and communicate with you. Furthermore, it allows you to operate in the realm of commerce and fiction, making it easier for you to trade goods and services with people not living close to you.

Having a name can be a wonderful thing but if you do not know how to use it wisely, it can be a curse and prevent you from living a happy life. One of the ways that your name can curse you is when you allow it to bond to your mind too deeply, causing you to think that your name is who you really are. Your name has the power to trick your mind because it is made up of sigils (letters). Because of this, it is important to use your name wisely, so you do not become a victim of your name.

When you do not know how to use your name wisely, the Dark Magicians or the Elite can use it to imprison your body, mind and soul in the “land” of the legally DEAD. The best time to trick you to “live” in the land of the legally dead or the “sea” of the legally dead is on the day your mother gave “birth” to you.

How You Were Tricked to Live in the Land of the Legally Dead

The contract that the government used to trick your mother and father to agree to allow you to live in the “land” or “sea” of the legally dead is the birth certificate. This certificate is actually a certificate of a dead baby, which is why it has a legal name written on it. The name or legal name is not you because your are living and made of flesh and blood. For evidence showing that the birth certificate is a death certificate, read my informative article titled The Law and You: How the Birth Certificate is Used to Take Away Your Natural Rights.

It is interesting to know that when you look up the word birth in A Dictionary of Law (1889), it tells you to “see Abandon, 2 (2)”. The word abandon in section 2 (2) is defined by A Dictionary of Law (1889) using these exact words: “The act of a parent in exposing an infant of tender years (usually under seven) in any place, with intent wholly to desert it.”

Based on the definition in the previous paragraph, when your mother gave birth to you and your parents signed the birth certificate with your name on it, they unknowingly agreed to abandon you. This allowed the State to claim “you” as its property and ship “you” to the land of the legally dead (legal fiction). Be aware that the word birth sounds almost identical to the word berth. Because they sound nearly identical, a judge or government agent can use them to trick you to think that he is talking about birth when he is actually talking about berth and vice versa. The word berth is defined as “sufficient space for a vessel to maneuver; sea room” or “a space for a vessel to dock or anchor”.

Here is an excerpt from my Amazon best seller book titled Word Magic: The Powers & Occult Definitions of Words that reveals how words are used to deceive you:

When a ship is in the process of being docked, it is being guided to come to berth. The word berth is defined as “a space for a vessel to dock or anchor”.33 Based on this information, when a product is unloaded onto the dock, it just went through the berthing process, which is the process of delivering the product from the vessel/ship onto the dock.

Phonetically, the word berth sounds like the word birth. This is why when a woman is in the process of giving birth, she is said to be delivering a baby. The birthing process of a baby is related to the process of delivering a product on a ship. Every woman has a body. Another word for body is vessel. A vessel can also be called a ship. The words body, vessel, and ship can all mean the same thing and be used to represent a woman’s body. This is why a ship is often referred to as “she” and the main ship is often called the “mother ship”.

To connect the dots, the process of a woman giving birth can also be defined as the process of delivering or berthing a product of a ship. Metaphorically speaking, the product is the baby and the ship is the woman’s body. When you compare all the information that you just read about commerce and the sea business to the process of birthing a baby, you will see a strong connection between the berthing process of a ship and the birthing process of a baby.

By spelling the words berth and birth slightly different and making them sound almost the same, the Dark Forces and their minions (the Dark Magicians) can trick you to agree to be a product of a ship, so that they can have jurisdiction over you. They know that they can not have jurisdiction over the real you (the living, breathing man or woman made of flesh and blood), which is why they need you to consent to be an artificial person, so that they can treat you like a product and make money by selling you on the stock market.”

The process of tricking you to agree to be an artificial person is mostly done through the legal system, which is the system that deals with the DEAD. The legal system is controlled by the Vatican of the Holy Roman Empire, one of the biggest practitioners of magic spells. The legal system is obsessed with magic spells, because certain magic spells have the power to summon the dead. This is why before a judge (also known as a magistrate/magi-strate, which is a magician) demands you to appear in court, a court agent needs to serve you a summons letter.

Why a Summons Letter Is Used to Summon the DEAD

When a court agent serves you a summons letter, the first question he asks you is often related to your legal name, which 99 percent of the time is written in all capital letters on legal documents. For example, the court agent may ask you the question “are you JOHN DOE?” If you were to answer yes to being your legal name and accept the summons letter, you would basically agree to play the role of a dead character. This occurs because the legal name is not living; instead it is a fictitious entity that has no life force of its own. As a result of that, it is as dead as a fictional character in a storybook. The summons letter is used to summon the dead using you (the living man or woman) as the medium. This is why a court agent has to serve you a summons letter with your legal name on it before a judge can demand you to appear in court.

To connect the dots, when you accept a summons letter, whether you realize it or not, you agree to raise the dead so you can play the role of a dead character. In other words, you agree to be a zombie. This is why it is called a summons letter. What do witches do when they want to communicate with dead spirits? They summon them using certain magic spells.

Have you seen the TV series The Walking Dead? In this TV series, the zombies represent the sheeple who do not even realize that they are legally dead. In other words, from the perspective of the the Dark Magicians, you are the walking dead, get it? The zombie apocalypse is not something that could happen in the future. It is already here because the people are, in a sense, the walking dead!

To learn how to free yourself from the land or sea of the legally dead, you need to learn how to use words wisely. Furthermore, you need to learn how to use the power of Natural Law to exercise your natural rights. To learn how to do these things, visit my website EsotericKnowledge.me and become a member.

S.D. Wells- September 18, 2017

(Natural News) It’s so easy to say you are living a healthy life when you are safeguarding what you eat and drink, trying to stick to mostly organic and raw whole foods, but millions of Americans often forget the fact that their skin is their largest organ, and most body care products are loaded with allergens, irritants and carcinogenic chemicals that are easily absorbed by their porous skin and thus enter the blood and lymphatic system. Never underestimate how easily chemicals we breathe in or put on our skin have just as much effect on our health as what we consume.

What’s worse is that the personal care products industry as a whole has virtually no regulations or inspections from the FDA, so companies and corporations literally “get away with murder” regarding a slow poisoning of people who don’t pay attention to ingredients or know the names of the “repeat offenders” that are found in thousands of products.

You won’t believe how fast and easily the skin absorbs dangerous chemicals. Skin absorption rates for chemicals were tested and published in the American Journal of Public Health. Fragrance ingredients are absorbed at an astonishing 100 percent rate. Your face, underarms and genitalia are also much more vulnerable to absorbing toxins than other broader body surfaces, so be extra careful when inspecting ingredients in soaps, cosmetics, deodorants, antiperspirants and powders. Take extra special care to inspect baby products also, which are barely regulated at all for health safety. Here are some rules of thumb to abide by when selecting body care products.

If you cannot pronounce an ingredient and you would not eat it, you probably should NOT put it on your skin, hair, lips or fingernails

Do the ingredient lists in most body care products you buy look like formulas for chemistry class experiments? You may be wondering how the heck these ingredients are supposed to help you take care of your body, and that’s because they don’t. Fancy words like preservatives, additives, fragrances, emulsifiers, conditioners, smoothing agents, straightening agents and derivatives might simply mean YOU and your children are the guinea pigs for untested, unregulated chemistry experiments, and you could wind up in a laboratory being studied for some disease or disorder the doctors and scientists just can’t seem to “find a cure” for at all.

Here are some common chemicals you may find in the cocktails and concoctions sold as “all natural” or “pure and natural.” Some corporations and companies that brag about using organic ingredients will still add in other chemicals and toxic agents that lead to health problems, so you really have to read the entire ingredients list carefully and be your own filter. Some products will brag about not containing two or three popular toxins, but then still include plenty of other carcinogens. Watch out for these body care “criminals:”

  • Phthalates
  • Parabens
  • Phenoxyethanol
  • Sodium Luaroyl Sarcosinate
  • Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
  • Sodium Laueth Sulfate (SLES)
  • Sulfates
  • Tocopheryl acetate
  • Cyclotetrasiloxane
  • Cocoamidopropyl Betaine
  • Olefin Sulfonate
  • Petroleum and petroleum-based derivatives (industrial chemicals often listed as coloring and dyes)
  • Disodium EDTA
  • BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene)
  • Titanium dioxide
  • Methylparaben
  • Iodopropynyl buutylcarbamate
  • Polyisobutene (a synthetic polymer)
  • Cocamide DEA
  • MIT (Methylisothiazolinone)
  • Triclosan
  • Formaldehyde
  • Toluene

The Cosmetic “Dirty Dozen” – Beautifying ingredients that aren’t very “pretty” at all

One out of every eight beauty product ingredients are actually industrial chemicals. This means if you put them on your skin, hair, lips or fingernails, your body will be absorbing pesticides, hormone disruptors, reproductive toxins, plasticizers, surfactants, paints, inks, degreasers and other cancer-causing agents. A U.S. researchers report on toxic beauty product ingredients found that at least 80 percent of cosmetics contain at least one of the following toxic chemicals:

– BHA and BHT (often found in makeup and moisturizers)

– Coal tar dyes listed as “CI” with a five digit number (watch for p-phenylenediamine and FD&C Blue No. 1)
– DEA, MEA and TEA – chemicals that are already proven harmful to fish and wildlife (remember humans are animals too)

– Dibutyl phthalate (check your nail care products)

– Formaldehyde (embalming fluid for the dead) and Urea (animal urine that slowly releases formaldehyde) “preservatives”

– Parabens

– Parfum or fragrance (also listed as “unscented”) – linked to asthma, allergies, neurotoxic effects and cancer

– PEG compounds (may include 1,4-dioxane cancer-causing ingredient and/or propylene glycol)

– Petrolatum (could be contaminated with cancer-causing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or “PAHs”)

– Siloxanes and Methicones (used for smoothing, softening and moisturizing agents)

– Sodium Laureth (or Lauryl) Sulfate (foaming agent for shampoos, bubble bath, cleansers and cosmetics often contaminated with 1,4-dioxane)

– Triclosan (often found in toothpastes, antiperspirants, cleansers) – contributes to antibiotic resistant bacteria and can be an endocrine disruptor for humans.

Just how many of the 7 most common body care toxins are YOU using daily?

#1. Antibacterial hand cleansers (destroys good bacteria too)

#2. Talc (baby powder, foot powder, body powder)

#3. Petroleum (common lip balms, baby oils and Vaseline)

#4. Phthalates

#5. Sodium lauryl sulfate

#6. Parabens

#7. Lead (common in lipstick)

ED vs. EL: a repost- What You Need To Know About The Connection Between Sugar & Your Mental Health

Article originally posted on Collective-Evolution

Alanna Ketler-September 21, 2017

For most of us, sugar is an essential part of our days. Think about how often you start craving ice cream, chocolate, or candy whenever you find  yourself down or stressed. For myself, despite my understanding that sugar is toxic and therefore doing my best to avoid it, I still crave a sugary treat when I am in these lowered states. We use sugar to soothe, to energize, and to reward ourselves for a job well done, often without even realizing it.

Disclaimer: The reference to sugar in this article is about added sugars, not sugars that are naturally found in fruits and vegetables.

So, Why Is This?

A study recently published in Scientific Reports found that there was a greater risk of depression among men whose diets were high in sugar.

You may be thinking that this makes sense because feeling depressed may lead to more sugar consumption rather than the other way around, but it seems as though, like many other drug addictions, this is a vicious cycle that we can easily fall into if we are not careful.

Researchers determined that, in many cases, sugar consumption actually occurred before depression, rather than being a consequence of it. An increasing number of studies have been emerging which explore the implications of diet on mental health, especially with the knowledge that up to 90% of our serotonin is produced in our gut — aptly giving the gut the name of our second brain. It has been difficult, however, to determine exactly how they are linked.

How Are Diet and Mental Health Linked?

A study conducted in 2002 monitoring the overall sugar consumption per person in six different countries — including Canada, France, Germany, Korea, New Zealand, and the United States — was able to connect the instance of sugar consumption to higher rates of major depression.

Since then, other research teams have also investigated the effect of diet on mental health. Two studies determined that eating fast foods like hamburgers, pizza, french fries, and other fried foods correlated with higher rates of depression in both children and adults.

Another study showed that female seniors from the United States with high levels of sugar in their diet also had greater rates of depression than those who consumed less sugar.

Another study determined that adults who drank unsweetened tea, compared to those who drank soft drinks, had lower rates of depression.

Does Sugar Affect Our Neurons?

Neurons are highly sensitive cells, and aren’t really designed to handle blood sugar spikes. Because of this, those suffering from diabetes are at a greater risk for neuronal damage, and scientists are now starting to understand how this can be linked directly to high blood sugar.

Researchers from the Department of Neurobiology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China, performed a study on diabetic rats and discovered that high blood glucose led to neural inflammation and damage.

This same group also discovered that even neurons grown in the laboratory showed increased inflammation when exposed to high levels of glucose.

Does Sugar Affect Our Cognitive Ability?

A review of several studies written by Margaret Morris, Ph.D., a professor of pharmacology in the School of Medical Sciences of the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and her team of researchers, determined that high rates of sugar consumption directly correlated with mild cognitive impairment in both seniors and children.

This group was also able to show that, after being put on a high sugar diet for just five days, laboratory rats had difficulty recognizing familiar places, a problem that went hand in hand with the inflammation and oxidative stress their brains had suffered.

Test This Theory for Yourself

Are you wondering if the sugar in your diet has been impacting your mood? Well, there is one way that you can easily find out: Limit your consumption, or even cut out all added sugars in your diet entirely. If you are a heavy consumer of sugar, then you will likely experience some detox symptoms, so it may take several weeks to see if your mood or general well-being improves after limiting or cutting out sugar altogether.

Limiting the amount of sugar you consume will benefit your physical health as well. To read more about how quitting sugar can have a positive impact on your health, check out the related CE articles below.

a repost: What Exactly Do We Really Have Ownership Of?

Article originally posted on Waking Times

RJ Spina- September 21, 2017

With the horrific weather anomalies and natural disasters currently happening across the globe, it moved my attention towards all the challenges these Souls are being forced to accept in working with these situations and the subsequent effect it has on their lives. All the energy spent on worrying, fear, preparation, planning, recovery and rebuilding in order to protect life and objects. My heart goes out to everyone who is struggling because of this. The obstacles and challenges in life are an integral part of the journey itself and are needed in order to force us to grow in our awareness, our love, our wisdom and our power.

The observation of these recent events led to a feeling inside my heart. This sensation, once fully clothed with empathy, compassion and the gentle guide of wisdom gives rise to inspiration in the form of a single thought… the concept of ownership.

What is it that we actually own? Certainly not our possessions. We don’t take them with us when we exit this concept of “life” so at best they are on loan, temporarily. Maybe all physical goods represent the result of our misdirected attention being placed on the illusory sensory realm or the “outside” world, the realm of the five senses. If we accept that we don’t ever own any material goods maybe that would free us from worry and concern over them and allow us to simply partake of the temporary sensory experience of them without attachment via ownership. Maybe we would see all physical goods in a different light with this understanding.

What about ownership in regards to our friendships and family? Relationships are a two-way street so having expectations of someone’s behavior, acceptance, attention, love or interest is not up to us, so all seemingly external interactions with others, even family and friends, are fickle. That does not fit the concept of ownership.

How about our thoughts? Surely we own those. No, we experience thoughts, only momentarily, which consist of the trillions of desires left behind by those who have come before us, including our own incarnations, as the collective consciousness. These desires are electrical impulses perceived and translated by our mind into what we experience as thoughts that randomly pop in and out of our head whenever we place our attention in our head. Ownership, no, not with thoughts. Most people would say they can’t control the thoughts that pop into their head so ownership is not accurate when it comes to thoughts.

What about our emotions? There has never been a single emotion that you have ever experienced that you can somehow claim ownership of. And whatever emotion you may be feeling currently, or have felt previously, will eventually will fade away just like the thoughts that pop in and out of your head. This is not ownership.

How about our actions? It seems the Law of Cause and Effect is in play here, but not ownership. Essentially, whatever is set in motion that is not Love must return to its origination point in order to experience its effect. Consciousness is ultimately responsible for everything it emanates, be it thought, emotion or action but there is no ownership there.

This holy trifecta of thought, emotion and action are specific filters or avenues in which consciousness can experience itself reflected back to itself through the illusory “outside” world. What you put out, you get back has been said before in many ways by many people since the dawn of time.

What about owning our individual bodies? If we took it with us when we exit this physical experience, then definitely, but we don’t so there can be no claim of ownership with the body either. Temporary use, yes, but not ownership. There doesn’t seem to be any real ownership with goods, thoughts, emotions, actions or the body.

What about experiences themselves? There is “something” that sits just to the left of your heart, right in the center of your chest. Call it a Soul or Sentience or Awareness or Consciousness, that seems to author through free will and witnesses through comprehension the experiences of your life, but you can’t claim ownership to experiences simply because you participated or retain a remembrance.

Your memory fades too, doesn’t it? Everything, eventually, just seems to disappear. The past is gone and cannot be experienced again. The present is perpetually slipping into the past and will be lost within the mists of time. Nobody owns the future since it isn’t here yet and once the future arrives, it will only momentarily be the present which immediately slips into the past. There is no ownership there either.

It seems as if there is no such thing as lasting or real ownership of anything. There is consciousness or awareness experiencing itself but this does not imply ownership, only experience and potential comprehension. If this is so, why and what are we destroying ourselves and each other over in order to perpetuate or protect?

The false ownership of a separate, fake identity or the Ego and its misguided claims of ownership. This identity, which essentially is made up of a series of random thoughts, experiences and emotions that we decided to identify with and turn them into beliefs and a separate self (identity); a limited belief of who we think we are and how we feel about ourself. We don’t own those beliefs or false identities but rather we experience them reflected back to us and yet we will defend and protect them no matter what the cost.

Why? Because the mind/ego tells us, through the influence of the sensory realm, that we must exist as a separate entity, and all these thoughts, goods, my body, emotions and experiences define me, in fact, they are me. They have to be me and mine. Because if I don’t own them, and if they are not me, then who am I?

Ask yourself that very question. See what answer you get. Don’t tell yourself a story or reel off a resume, demand to know, “Who am I?” The mind will have absolutely no answer. It’s because there is no who. There is no separate identity. There is only one Spirit moving through us all, God/Source. Surrender to this truth and return to your immortality as you experience this temporary life.

The conscious knowingness that we are One is inevitable and is our ancient future once again. The moment you live your life this way, you will experience true Freedom and Joy. The liberation from the empty concept of self and ownership perpetuated by the false identity or Egoic mind is enlightened consciousness itself. Step out of that shadow forever, your self-imposed prison and into the Light. The very Light of Source that emanates from your heart and onto the screen of life that is consciousness itself.

There is no ownership because ownership implies separation and there is only The One expressing itself as the many. Forget, past, present and future. They are concepts of the mind, products of finite consciousness within the limited sensory realm. There is only here and now. It’s where time and space meet and cancel each other out. Where infinite consciousness experiences itself, reflected back to itself, through the cosmic play of existence itself. And YOU are THAT and YOU are FREE if you would only know it in your heart.

Place your attention on the center of your chest. Stay right there. And just let go…

Love to you all, always. Om.

Namaste.

a repost: 10 Products Linked To Cancer That Are Hiding In Almost Every Home

Article originally posted on Collective-Evolution

Kalee Brown-September 12, 2017

Do you ever walk through someone’s home and take note of items that could potentially be hazardous to their health? I know I do! I don’t mean to judge, but I can’t help but notice when people have fluoride-filled toothpaste sitting on their bathroom counters or chemical-ridden cleaners hiding in their cabinets. But, what if some of these items are sitting in your own home?

Most people have toxic products linked to cancer in every corner of their homes, often without even realizing it. It’s not like the labels of these products all have a huge warning sign that reads, “I can cause cancer!”

Nevertheless, whether people knowingly purchase these cancer-causing products or not, we need to educate one another on their potential harmful effects.

The following list highlights some of the most popular products found in North American homes that are linked to cancer:

1. Shampoo

One of the most common items hiding in most people’s homes are chemical-ridden hair products, particularly shampoos and conditioners. Some of the typical chemicals within conventional shampoos include sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), parfum/fragrance, parabens, synthetic colours, and more.

Parabens are a known carcinogen, as they’re directly associated with different types of cancer; for example, one study found that 99% of breast cancer tissues tested had parabens in them. Some common ingredients in parfum/synthetic fragrances are benzene derivatives, aldehydes, phthalates, and many other toxins associated with cancer, birth defects, nervous-system disorders, and allergies.

Head & Shoulders specifically contains fragrance, synthetic colours, and SLS, amongst a myriad of other chemicals in the toxic cocktail that makes up their shampoos and conditioners. Some of their shampoo products also contain methylchloroisothiazolinone, a potential mutagen.

2. Non-Stick Cookware

When I first discovered non-stick cookware, I absolutely loved it! That was, until I found out about the potential health risks that come with cooking with these products. The issue is that non-stick cookware is created using a synthetic coating of polytetrafluoroethylene, otherwise known as Teflon, a plastic polymer that will actually release toxins when heated at 450 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

One study found that heating cookware coated with Teflon for only two to five minutes on a conventional stovetop can cause the coating to break apart and emit toxic particles and gases. Even just inhaling these once can cause people to become sick with what’s known as the “Teflon flu.”

Some of the chemicals within that coating are also considered potential carcinogens.

3. Artificial Sweeteners

Artificial sweeteners are in so many products, and one of the most prevalent ones used is aspartame. Aspartame is commonly thought to only be in diet sodas, but it’s often added to teas, energy drinks, protein shakes, milk products, juices, and other artificially flavoured beverages. Aspartame has been linked to numerous health problems, including cancer.

There’s been a lot of controversy surrounding the aspartame/cancer link, and many corporations that profit off aspartame have funded research in efforts to disprove the causal link. However, a study performed in 2007 showed that aspartame can cause leukemias/lymphomas and mammary (breast) cancer.

Instead of using artificial sweeteners, try a natural alternative such as maple syrup, raw honey, Xylitol, Stevia, organic cane sugar, or dates.

4. Plastic Bottles and Food Containers

So much of our “food” comes in plastic bags, containers, and bottles. Even our fruits and vegetables are commonly wrapped in plastic. Not only is this extremely wasteful and bad for the environment, but it isn’t very good for our health, either.

If you’re drinking from a plastic water bottle, the chemicals within that plastic that are touching your lips can literally seep into your mouth, especially if your water has been sitting in the bottle for a while. Left your bottle in a hot car? That’s even worse, as the heat expedites this chemical leaching.

You’ve probably noticed more and more “BPA-free” labels on plastic bottles, and that’s because people have become increasingly aware of how using plastic containers can harm our health, as many contain BPA, which can cause cancer in people.

An easy solution is to use a refillable water bottle and glassware, which is not only better for your own health, but the health of the environment, too.

5. Air Fresheners

This is a big one. Air fresheners are all over people’s houses; from bedrooms to bathrooms to cars, people love them. Typically they’re made with synthetic fragrance, otherwise known as parfum. Parfum is basically a cocktail of toxic chemicals, but instead of listing all of these chemicals on the back of products, it’s conveniently labelled as “parfum” so that companies can keep their signature fragrance a trade secret.

Unfortunately, this also allows companies to hide harmful ingredients, many of which are known carcinogens, in their products without the consumer even knowing.

For a more natural alternative, try brands like Saje Natural Wellness or DoTerra, or make your own using essential oils and water! You could even use natural disinfectants like tea tree and pine essential oils.

6. Conventional Cleaners

Most families have an entire shelf filled with toxic cleaners because corporations convince consumers they need different products to clean specific surfaces. Even though most of these products have toxic warning signs on them that clearly state they’re poisonous and/or corrosive, people continue to, quite literally, buy into this corporate propaganda. Not only are they breathing in these fumes while cleaning, but so are any of their household visitors and/or children.

According to the David Suzuki Foundation, some of the common chemicals found in household cleaning products include 2-BE (causes reproductive problems), ammonia (associated with kidney and live damage), coal tar dyes (causes cancer and harms nervous system), and the infamous “fragrance” or parfum. For an all-natural, all-purpose household cleaner, check out Dr. Bronner’s.

7. Toothpaste

Commercial toothpastes primarily use toxic substances as a means to “clean your mouth,” as the ingredients in regular toothpastes can cause enamel damage, dental flourosis, stomach ailments, skin rashes, and more.

One of the worst ingredients found in most conventional and “dentist approved” toothpastes is fluoride, a known carcinogen. Fluoride has been a known neurotoxin for a long time, but the government claims it benefits our teeth. In reality, it hasn’t actually been proven to prevent the buildup of harmful oral bacteria; however, it has proven to be toxic, with long-term ingestion linked to brainheart, and bone issues. You can get fluoride free toothpaste here.

“In point of fact, fluoride causes more human cancer deaths than any other chemical. When you have power you don’t have to tell the truth. That’s a rule that’s been working in this world for generations. There are a great many people who don’t tell the truth when they are in power in administrative positions. This amounts to public murder on a grand scale, it is a public crime. . . . It is some of the most conclusive bits of scientific and biological evidence that I have come across in my 50 years in the field of cancer research.”

8. Soap

Whether it’s dish soap, hand soap, or body wash, conventional soaps often contain a wide array of chemicals. Antibacterial soaps regularly contain Triclosan, which is a potential carcinogen, along with many of the other ingredients often found in typical soaps. Conventional soaps also often contain parfum/fragrance.

The good news is that organic/all-natural soap is widely available! Dr. Bronner’s makes a great dish soap, as does Green Beaver, and there are tons of great body products made by all-natural brands like Andalou and Saje Natural Wellness.

9. Laundry Detergent

Laundry detergents often contain phosphorus, enzymes, ammonia, naphthalene, phenol, and sodium nitilotriacetate, all of which can cause rashes, itchiness, dryness, and sinus problems. These chemicals are easily absorbed through your skin from your clothes and bed sheets. In addition, many conventional detergents contain artificial scents and “fragrance,” which is a code name for a sweet cocktail of hazardous chemicals and potential carcinogens. My favourite all-natural detergent is doTERRA’s On Guard Laundry Detergent.

10. Baby Powder

Many baby powders are talc-based, meaning that they contain high amounts of talcum powder. According to the American Cancer Society, talc in its natural form, which contains asbestos, can cause cancer. One of the most popular baby powders used produced by Johnson and Johnson is talc-based. The company has been sued many times and has paid millions of dollars to those who claimed their baby powder caused their cancer.

A more recent case against Johnson & Johnson involved a California woman who was awarded more than $70 million in her lawsuit against the company, as she claimed their baby powder caused her ovarian cancer. Johnson & Johnson, like many other companies, has failed to disclose the dangers of using their products. Although there are many all-natural alternatives available, here’s a link to a DIY Natural recipe for baby powder.

Final Thoughts

The great part about all of this is that there are incredible, all-natural alternatives to all of these products! You don’t need to be living in fear that you’ll get cancer because there are so many things you can do to prevent it, starting with replacing these products with all-natural alternatives.

Much love!

Do you REALLY want to be WIRED TO THE SYSTEM??

Recently, I watched a movie called The Belko Experiment. The main characters were employees of Belko Industries, which was located in the middle of rural Colombia (in the middle of nowhere.) Long story short, they were  trapped in the office building against their will by an unknown entity, who pitted them in a death match against each other . If the trapped employees chose not to engage in the sadistic game, they would die by an exploding microchip that was inserted in their brain when they first started working with the company.   To see the savagery emerge from those people to save their own ass was pretty mind-blowing. It was a pretty gruesome movie to say to the least.

That’s the power of the microchip, I guess (smh.) Ignorance is bliss.

If you haven’t seen the movie The Ghost in the Shell, it touches on the same topic as well…

Giving your power away, when it comes your body (your temple!) for the sake of convenience through technology may not be the smartest move, fam!

But we’ve been moving in this direction for awhile when it comes to pacemakers and devices like them.  Maybe it’s inevitable (smh.)

Check out these movies from your local Redbox and OBSERVE them. Don’t get caught up in the action and the stupid storyline. Hopefully it’ll make you second guess placing technological convenience over common sense.

If not, this is where the general population of this world is inevitably headed (read article below.)

Enjoy!!

Corporations and Government Engineering a World Where Everyone Will be Microchipped

Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.” – Frederich Nietzsche

Technology is moving incredibly fast. Although certain advances are doing the world a lot of good, over time, new tools inevitably grant new opportunities for the powerful to garner more control and influence over the people. One of the most insidious means of mass control has not yet been fully implemented, but is being pushed at an ever-increasing rate: human microchipping.

Microchips Are Already Here

Many people like to pass off the issue of microchipping as a “conspiracy theory,” or something of the like. However, microchipping of humans is already underway as people discover that slavery can be incredibly convenient. Take for example Tim Shank, who allowed a microchip to be surgically implanted between his thumb and forefinger. As a software engineer, he believes that having technology imbedded into his body will be more convenient for him. A piercing and tattoo shop called Skin Art Gallery also performs the procedure, and companies online are beginning to sell kits for microchipping.

“This is an NFC chip, so it’s similar to what phones have nowadays.” – Tim Shank

Businesses have also begun microchipping their employees. Three Market Square, a Wisconsin-based company which sells microchips as well as vending machines that work with them, came under fire recently for taking technology to an uncomfortably invasive level. Their vision is for the entire population to become microchipped so they will never have to use credit cards or cash again.

“Eventually, this technology will become standardized allowing you to use this as your passport, public transit, all purchasing opportunities, etc.” – Todd Westby, Three Square Market CEO

In 2015 BBC reported that a Swedish company called Epicenter Stockholm started offering microchips to employees as well. This company reportedly used RDIF chips as opposed to NFC, which are much more easily tracked and hackable.

“We want to be able to understand this technology before big corporates and big government come to us and say everyone should get chipped – the tax authority chip, the Google or Facebook chip.” – Hannes Sjoblad, Chief Disruption Officer at Epicenter Stockholm and Self-proclaimed “Human Augmentation Activist”

Implanted Microchips Will Inevitably Result in the Elimination of Cash

The inevitable result of transferring all transactions to electronic means is of course the abolition of cash. Without cash, not only are there no longer anonymous purchases, but consequently anyone from the manufacturer of your chip to the bank you use could at any time strip away your ability to make purchases. This is incredibly dangerous because it demands a certain level of conformity and obedience in order to stay alive in the modern world.

In July 2017, Visa announced a new initiative called “The Visa Cashless Challenge” which would be used to give up to $500,000 to 50 restaurants that go ‘100% cashless’. Of course, when more people use digital forms of payment, Visa makes more money. If cash was entirely eliminated then Visa and the other credit card companies would rake in much larger profits. One economist wrote in a column for the London Telegraph that banning cash would allow more government control over the economy and grow their ability to monitor the populace, which he claims to be a good thing.

“Once all money exists only in bank accounts – monitored, or even directly controlled by the government – the authorities will be able to encourage us to spend more when the economy slows, or spend less when it is overheating. – Jim Leaviss, Former Bank of England Economist

Back in 2015 JP Morgan Chase began eliminating the storage of cash in its safety deposit boxes. This news came directly after Citigroup economist Willem Buiter advocated for the elimination of cash altogether.

“It is precisely the existence of paper currency that makes it difficult for central banks to take policy interest rates much below a zero, a limitation that seems to have become increasingly relevant during this century.” – Willem Buiter, Chief Economist at Citigroup

Music festivals have also bought into the idea of cashless society as many around the world, such as Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, and Firefly, are now requiring wristbands, made by a company called Intellitix, linked to an individual’s payment information for purchases of T-Shirts and albums.

“Organizers can even drive more sales by introducing time-sensitive promotions to targeted customer segments on the fly during the festival or post-event. Customer data can also be used to improve future event content to boost sales even further.” Eric Janssen, chief revenue officer of Intellitix

The Next Step: Microchips in Your Brain

It might sound farfetched now, but the Pentagon’s technological development arm known as DARPA is already working on microchips which are designed to be imbedded in the brain. In 2016, DARPA spent $62 million on developing these chips, which are roughly one cubic centimeter in size and have massive implications for the degradation of human freedom and free thought.

“[The chips would enable] data-transfer bandwidth between the human brain and the digital world, feeding digital auditory or visual information into the brain, [and thereby] open the channel between the human brain and modern electronics.”

In 2015, engineers at Texas A&M University developed a chip, which embedded into the brains of cockroaches allows them to control movement of the specimen. Called “backpacks”, these devices weigh less than three grams and contain all the necessary wiring to remote control an insect.

“[The] cockroach walks naturally, and we simulate barriers by sending pulses to its antenna. They use their antenna as touch sensors, so stimulation on one side directs these insects towards the opposite direction.”

Former Google CEO and recurring Bilderberg member Eric Schmidt is a big proponent of brain chips as well.

“There’s what I call the creepy line and the Google policy with a lot of these things is to get right up to the creepy line, but not cross it. I would argue that implanting things in your brain is beyond the creepy line…at least for the moment until the technology gets better.” – Eric Schmidt, Former Google CEO

In an attempt to merge the human mind with artificial intelligence Tesla CEO Elon Musk

recently launched a venture called Neuralink

, a company whose goal it is to create devices which can be implanted in the human brain, effectively cutting off humanity from discovering our true potential, and finding the answers to life’s biggest questions, by trapping us in a technological sub-world with clearly defined limitations coded into existence by people we have not and will never meet.

“Over time I think we will probably see a closer merger of biological intelligence and digital intelligence…what hasn’t been done [yet] is the reading and writing of neural code.” – Elon Musk

Will You Accept or Reject Being Tagged with a Microchip?

Microchipping is akin to a cow being tagged – a system of virtually unremovable identification which allows its owners to keep track of personal information such as health, vaccination schedules, eating habits, etc. In humans, this comes in the form of purchases, internet browsing history, social media activity and more.

The scary part in all of this is that a significant number of people, although there are many who oppose it, seem to be unaware of the near and present dangers associated with microchips. In 2015, a survey found that one in four Australians would accept a chip implanted under their skin if it meant more convenience for them when making purchases. In 2016, NBC produced a propaganda piece saying that your children must be microchipped “sooner rather than later” in order to keep them safe from predators.

“When barcodes first came out in the late 1960s, people were appalled. They were wary of them and did not understand the concept. Today, it is so commonplace, we don’t even notice it. A microchip would work much in the same way.”

Fortunately, more people are becoming aware of this and are prepared to reject microchipping when it starts to become mandatory or large numbers of people begin receiving implants. Will you reject this modern method of slavery or accept a tag for convenience? The choice is yours.
